ok that's not so bad right? but ....

We are going to intercede at the site of the statue of the bull on Wall Street to ask God to begin a shift from the bull and bear markets to what we feel will be the 'Lion's Market,' or God's control over the economic systems. While we do not have the full revelation of all this will entail, we do know that without intercession, economies will crumble.

they pray at the Golden Bull statue on Wall Street? did these people not watch the 10 Commandments? Charleton heston wrtfpwned the jewbs for worshipping false idols ..well ...

Praying. How to think your helping without actually doing anything.

Good luck with that.

they rub the Golden Bull's balls for good luck ...that has to have some kind of effect on the financial markets

I prefer "praying" in front of a goddess of my choosing. A quick relief is always guaranteed.

The sad thing is that if it does get fixed, they'll be gobbin everywhere about how God did it.

What's funny is that these Christians are always so big on humans having "free will" and all that kind of nonsense, but for God to have control over the economic system, he clearly has to take "control" of humans and make them do either the bad things they did or the good things to fix it.

Actually, God has control over inanimate objects. It's the will of Christians he cannot interfere with. So in essence he could fix the US economy, it being without a soul.

Stern, for being so anti-christian, you sure do seem to know quite a bit about them and the bible. :p

Know thy enemy, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, etc, etc.

What else is there to look to when the world around you is going to hell in a hand basket?

For being so adamant about your anti-gay/immigrant/race ideas, you sure dont seem to know much about them. I think Stern's way is better tbh.

Um no. Dats Crazy talk. Or just because we have free will and such, God listens to prayer, helps. I dont even think we can argue on this. Oh well <3

Also to thread, prayer without help is not very accomplishing. Cant just pray for good grades and not study. Do your part. Pray and Help.
So im half for it?

That's priceless.

I'm glad somebody got the point of this thread ..this thread isnt about prayer or even god or religion ..it's about golden calves, worshipping false idols and chuck heston as moses ..if you doont get it then kindly GTFO and start your own thread on prayer ;) :)

If enough anti-american muslims pray for us to have a shite economy, would they cancel each other out? I have a picture in my head of god yelling at all of them, "I'd love to help but you're doing it wrong."
What else is there to look to when the world around you is going to hell in a hand basket?
Seriously?

maybe jesus and mohammed could have a deathmatch to settle the dispute

Mohammed: "No fair, you just keep respawning"

Leave the christians alone. Some of you people get mad when some christian rags on Dawkins. Hypocrites. :arms:

No matter how ridiculous it may seem to some of you, it's their right to pray in these hard times if they want.

Yes we all have the right to pray, rather Stern is on how people are praying and doing nothing i believe.

I'm sure Stern's intent was to troll and make fun of christians. We all know that. ;)

I don't like it either when a christian proclaims how retarded evolution is.

Well, I guess I just don't like people's BS in general, so I guess that just makes me intolerant.

Bawwww dont make fun of the Christians bawwwwwww.

I got what you're getting at and think it's funny too, but this is suited more for off topic. In politics it makes it seem like an attack on the prayer, wheras in general off topic it looks more like laughing at the irony of praying to Christian god by praying to an idol.

On hl2.net, if its religious, its political.

Hey it's not US who said God's people should stop praying to a Golden Calf...

That is true. Although, they are not praying to the calf, I guess they just want to be around for physical presence? Anyway really, let them do what they want. Sometimes when praying for someone sick you would want to be with that person when you pray. I guess its really what they want to do.
For Christians(Atheist Do not Argue, Im not asking you to debate on this): Although praying from wherever you are is still good

You all missed the symbolism. They're not praying to any bull. It's just a site for the gathering. The main idea of their intercession is to replace the "bull and bear markets to what we feel will be the 'Lion's Market.'"

Semantics, people.
