Im in the american group (circumsized but not jewish) everyone I know is circumsized and whoever isn't is considered wierd and its a major thing. Of all the girls I've talked to think its the sickest thing and wont do anything with a guy that is.

That really is disgusting, but you can't really argue as it is no different then male circumcision, as that is often against the will of the guy.

I was doing some work for a women's rights charity on a campaign to raise awareness about domestic abuse, which was pretty tough at times.
The next campaign they did was about female genital mnutilation; I couldn't handle it, so I couldn't help. It's disgusting, painful and serves no purpose except, as far as I'm aware, to slightly heighten the sexual pleasure for the man.

Should be pointed out it's not ALL Arabic and African cultures, just a few. Although, of course, that's a few too many.

Female mutilation is very different from circumcision in that it's done to women to make them enjoy sex less, in hopes to make them less likely to be promiscuous. I think I'll stay over here.

And yes, circumcized, but even though my father's Jewish, I checked the "yes but not Jewish" because it was performed by the doctor when I was an infant.

I am circumcised, and a far cry from being Jewish; was something at birth and I couldn't do shit about it. I don't really care all that much one way or another, to be honest.

How does mutilating your penis make you a member of a higher class of society? Also hygiene has nothing to do with it, as long as you clean under there regularly there's nothing to worry about. It's like washing your hair or under your armpits.

Im not Jewish. I was circumcised when I was 17 because I had never been able to pull the skin back. The piece of skin that connects the foreskin to the glans( called 'fremulem' or something which is supposed to be elasticy) was too tight. So I had it done and man the friction was eye watering for the first week but once healed I dont notice anymore.
But after my first attempt at changing the dressing on it, standing over the toilet with blood dripping from the wounds..... I was quite upset!

do you really think that any1 remembers their circumsision if done at birth. I mean youre like 3 hrs old, I dont think you even know what pain is yet.

I was thinking about this and I came to this conclusion:
It can only hurt to keep it, and so remove it at birth, but if it wasn't, then remove it only if it is necessary
