Not strong enough imho. They need to do a lot more in terms of shutting down the Islamic "schools" where hate is taught as a religious value. They also need to weed out the fundamentalist traitors and terrorist sympathizers in the ISI(Inter-Services Intelligence). Pardoning that slimy nuclear scientist Khan didn't help matters either.

and pakistan is a islamic republic meaning their constitution conforms to islamic law rather than using islamic law as it's model (as is the case in saudi arabia for example)

And isreal is a stable nation who is trustable with a nuclear Arsenal? Like hell it is. Hell, When the Iranian president is vowing to wipe out a nation, Isreal is currently in the process of doing so. Not only that, but Isreal have had a history of being pre emptive and lieing. The last thing on earth you need is a jewish nation with nukes surrounded by muslims. Isreal is clearly a nation who shouldnt have nukes, more so (arguably) than iran.

At least Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is straight foward and honest with his intentions. Unlike Isreal, and the US.

Also they may be teaching hate in those pakistani schools, but do you honestly think that the hatred many of us have for muslims is not amplified by a US dominated media constantly reporting on muslim suicide bombers? The word 'terror' has become a synonym for islamic or muslim for goddsake. Just because Iran is an islamic state doesn't automatically make it a terrorist and irresponsible one.

Pre-emptive yes, to destroy invading armies that were on the border getting ready to destroy Israel.
The only time they didnt do a pre-emptive strike, Israel was almost anihilated -> Yum Kippur.

Uhm, seriously, its not like the media is indoctrinating us with "muslims are suicide bombers".
Its because suicide bombing these days is carried out mostly by muslims, and the media is reporting on the issues.
There is no large-scale agenda here, and please lets stop blaming every freekin piece of hatred on the west.

The Islam has a cancer: its called fundementalism, in which this great and peacefull religion is being abused to indoctrinate certain people to carry out suicide missions, or to wage holy-wars against others.
Its not rare, it happens every year, and sadly most muslims dont see the danger, and simply ignore it.

Even here in Holland, Jihad is preeched in some Mosque's. Over the last few year we've evicted several Imams that were here spreading hatred against homosexuals, christians and jews.
Imo, now that we're on the topic of extremism, only the Muslims can and should stop this extremism, not christians, jews, hindu's or atheists.

And whoever's talking about "just because Iran is an islamic state" its an irresponsible one? Stop generalising everything as if its discrimination vs Islam, its not.
