I agree. I'm in sweden and I have no problem with lag, swedish servers have perfect ping and thus this hitbox thing is a very annoying aspect.

And I mean, most people tend to have good ping on servers located in the same country.
 
I really like the map specific camo idea. And I alos like the dynamic kevlar vest and helmet idea.

The only thing is, a CT would look weird without a helmet on (if the player didn't buy one), and a T would look weird with a helmet on.

It's already unplayable in tournaments, well the CPL anyway.
 
I love the idea for map specific models, though, how would you do it for player-made maps? Assign a model-set (like desert, urban, etc.)? Or.... what?
