Cliffe Hints the CS:S Preload Time

Yep i know haveing internet slow down annoying. ya so when did it preload for cafe owners?
 
Anyone have any idea


UPDATE: CS:S Preload will start 12:00 PM Pacific time
and 3:00 PM Eastern time i have talked to Cliffe so i guess thats what there shooting for so you mine as well go to bed and not stay up like i was lol!!!

why would u stay up for the preloading? u cant play it rightaway anyway (that sounded weird)
 
Ya i know it was cause i was chatting with cliffe and stuff about stuff but since he told us lol. I think they also will unclock same time as Cyber Cafe so then we can do stuff in the day time.
 
well from the original statement "Around what time of day did it pre-load for cafes?" this means it will preload at around 11pm in the UK.

no, read the quote properly. it said "UPDATE: CS:S Preload will start 12:00 PM Pacific time and 3:00 PM Eastern time i have talked to Cliffe" he hinted that it would start at 3pm (11pm GMT), so this news saying 12pm is new info. so i am asking where was it from? and dont post me back to that original thread cos that does not say 12pm
 
crap now i have to wait another 3 hours. oh well, itll only be 10pm over here in oz :)
 
OK Guys actually it will most likely happend today at 6:00 PM Pacific time because i just read a post from gabe said that cs:s beta 1 preloaded at 6:00 PM Pacific time to CAFE OWners!! SO cliffe was just hinting around the time shooting for, so sorry guys most likey will preload at 6:00 PM Pacific time.

So another 8 hours left if it doesnt preload within 12:20

Well once I get it preloaded, I'm gonna go surfing through the cache files, and check them out..
 
am i right to estimate, for me in the uk that it will preload around 9pm for me as the us is 3 hours behind and right now its 6pm here?

Last I checked, you can view the CS:S preload cache (hence people were pulling out background TGAs, and spray paints, and stuff)
 
The cyber cafe beta wasnt unlocked till 3pm PST (11pm GMT 6pm EST), so id expect it around then, but anytime now is possible

3PM PST = 6PM EST

Boy i love it when people post and have no clue what they are talking about </sarcasm>

Edit: sorry my post looked a bit harsh after i read it, but seriously lets stop worrying about the exact minute the damn thing is gonna preload. It does you no good anyway unless you hack the stuff to let you play it, so lets just hope it gets started today at ANYTIME...
 
i was reading the pages everybody goin on about the time then i read azzor post it made me laugh so about 11.00pm then
 
so if it's at 11:00PM in England then I guess it's 12:00PM here in Sweden eh? :) That's the time Valve usually release something. Same time even back in Steam-beta days.
