That is completely ridiculous. Of course it wasn't hl2 world. First of all we haven't and wouldn't do anything like that and second of all we were attacked at the exact same time and also had to lock down the entire board.

Not to even mention the fact that the owner of Hl2 world has e-mailed this site more than once offering mutual assistance in these attacks by sharing information on the offending user and methods for stopping them.

There was no need or justification to try to smear our name like that.

I would kindly request that you remove the name from your blog, thank you.

Request kindly denied, sorry but "your site" is still in the running, and don't try to act like your site doesn't smear this site as much as possible. Furthermore I am not "smearing" your site, it's the truth, one of the people/organizations we suspect is H.L.2World. And your owner isn't responsive to working together in any way. I'd post the one and only conversation that I had with him, but you would say I was "smearing" him for showing him being an asshole. I've never publicly said anything bad about H.L.2World that wasn't true. And this is no different, we still are considering "your site" as a suspect.

Yes, I'm just sure that hl2 world attacked themselves and locked and shut down their entire board due to this attack at the same time they attacked your site. That makes no sense. Both sites were shut down by the same kind of attack at the same time. Like I said, no matter what you think of hl2 world, it's ridiculous to claim we could have had any part in it.

And yes, I do admit that some members there "smear" this site. Obviously I do not support this as I am a member here as well. But that still gives you no right to basically accuse hl2 world of attacking this site, when everything shows that that is not possible or probable. I don't care if you express your opinions that you don't like it and think it is a bad site. Go right ahead. But doing that and saying it would be responsible for attacking another forum with no evidence to back you up are two different things entirely.

So I maintain you have no justification for claiming hl2 world is a suspect beyond your apparent strong personal dislike for it. Again, I would ask you to please remove the name from your blog unless you have any kind of credibleevidence to back up your claim that hl2 world could be a suspect.

Suspect becuase of the NUMEROUS threats we recieved from your users, matter of fact I believe we had one a few days ago, warning us that we won't be ready when CSS is released.

And it's lovely that Feedbag says he e-mailed us, but after completely stonewalling me when I tried to open some lines of communication between the site, he must of "forgot" my e-mail address.

Though I don't think those users should be doing anything like that, users are not a website. Are you responsible for everything your users do? No, of course not.

But you aren't accusing hl2 world users of being a suspect, you are accusing hl2 world the website of being a suspect. That's the reason I have a problem with it. Even, hypothetically, if it was a user of hl2 world that did it you still shouldn't be mentioning hl2 world by name. That is wrong in my opinion. If some user that was a member here did something like that I wouldn't, and shouldn't, hold halflife2.net responsible for his or her actions.

Just want to clarify that I'm not saying anything negative about halflife2.net. I like this site. I only have a specific problem with this specific item that Icarus posted in his Blog and I think he should remove it.
