Closeing the Doom 3 sub-forum ?

Regardless of wether anyones likes the game or not, I think if someone wants to read about doom3, they should check out a site dedicated to doom3.

p.s. i enjoyed doom 3 a bit except for the cheap resident evil style scares.

I say close it. It's had its time, and Doom3 mods can still go under 'Games' Forum. The main reason we had a sub-forum in the first place was because 'Games' was being bombarded at the time. As you can see, it's subsided now.

Just relocate all the threads into general gaming and close it. even when they release the SDK, it will still be sometime before any mods appear, and the sub forum isn't going to get any busier until then, and people who are really into doom 3 are more likely to goto a dedicated Doom 3 site IMHO for Mod news.

Hello all, yes close the Doom3 forum, and but the subforum thiing is a good way of keeping the "stuck on level 1 of Halo 2, Need help" threads in one place. rather than going into the general gaming thread and making that look like a nights work for Microsoft technical support.

Once the mods come out, and threads start interfering with the General Gaming section, then we can open it again. For now (even though it's not in the way as a sub-forum) let it die.
