generals is better, but it didn't have any cutscenes and shit. They should have made a new "universe" or hooked in into an old one.

I liked CnC3's SP campaign a lot more.
But when it comes to MP I like Generals a lot more. In fact it's my favorite strategy online.

I've played all CnC games to date, and I can say CnC3 is without a doubt the WORST game in the Tiberium story line. It is, however, not as bad as Red Alert 2, which is a spinoff at best, and an absolute mistake at worst.

Only in terms of story. In terms of enjoying via WTF factor, Red Alert 2 was possibly my favourite.

I agree the story blew chunks though.

/EDIT Tiberium Dawn is the fanname for the first game, I believe.

Yeah. Tiberian Dawn is the fan name for the original C&C, because:

• It's awesome
• It ties up with Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Twilight, which was the planned name for C&C3 before EA dismantled Westwood
• It avoids confusion

RA2 is good fun, that's why.

The FMVs are fun to watch and playing the game is fun, **** the story... I just want to see shit get blown up.

As for Generals and CNC3?... Eh, I'd have to say Generals for the fun factor.
I hate what they've done to NOD and GDI in CNC3.

Like what, out of curiosity? (I feel the same way.)

Generals, when it came out, was ok, I guess. But in reflection very little made sense.

The biggest pain in both is that garrosining a building is useless -- flashbangs kill infantry in one hit, and clear buildings in one go, in Gen. And in CnC3, it's pointless because of black hand and grenadiers.
