portal storms happened somewhere after the resocnance cascade right after you nuked BMRF presumebly.

I thought the portal storms started RIGHT on the resonance cascade, hence the 'Appearing vortigants'. The GLOBAL portal storms occur shortly after the Resonance Cascade (Unless some one know's the exact time?). Enlighten me!

Pretty clearly not a Combine soldier--it's a rebel. Obviously the Combine, being the lock-step orginization that they are aren't going to use graffiti, anyway. You ever see a Combine soldier in green? That's a gas-mask, by the way, before anybody asks. Why would a Combine soldier be cradling a baby? The proposed propagandic reasons put forth by earlier posters are ludicrous and far-fetched. If the piece is propaganda (and it likey is), it is rebel propaganda, representing the cause of the resistance as that of protecting humanity, specifically the innocents, as symbolized in the helpless child.

My first thought was a gas mask too - mostly due to the clothes.
The simple fact that we are debating what it means makes it too ambiguous to be propaganda be either side.

I have always thinking that painters of those child pics are same who put Lambda tags and "born" tags to the city walls, so it's not propaganda, more like a ironic message of combine's baby policy.

OT but where do you guys hear child voices? In first chater?

at the end of HL when you killed Nihilanth , he was shooting out all those portals , could they of been something too do with it ( I'm just pulling things out of my ass )

I am quite sure you hear combine voices, screaming children and stunsticks in the playground in the beginning.

Umm,
1) in the X-Box version, the figure holding the child is faceless, no gas mask.
2) I didn't hear any voices at all (Because I played X-Box probably)
3) I'm pretty sure the portal storms happen RIGHT at the start of the resonance cascade, hence the appearing enemies all over BMRF, and Nihinlanth's death just released all his energy and amplified the storms to go global.

I'd say both.

The childrens were originally in somekind of factories, wroking in some Combine things. In E3 map, e3_industrial, there is child lab where the childs are around a table, and somekind of tube pulls Cremator head in their hands and they must put it to another tube :S

So there was no Child Rebels or else as some people think in forums like Facepunchstudios. There was concept in Raising The Bar, and the factory was just like it in e3_industrial.

The models are converted to GMod by ?UnKnOwN? but they don't have any animations or Cremator head so they are only for posing in GMod.
