Combine Empire....greatest enemy ever?

Well, I admire the Combine for being characterized so well. Those blue goggles are pretty much iconic (to me), and they feel very smart to play against. I love their bigger machines, such as striders.

Quite frankly, The Imperium of Mankind, ala Warhammer 40k, would snap the Combines little neck. As would all the other empires in that continuity. Especially the Orkz. Does it have background story. Oh dear god yes. If only they had a decent FPS... cry.


Space Marines... I just realized... they are all 7 to 8 feet tall Gordon Freeman's. Millions of them. All all with a HEV Mark'A'Billion, and... heavy bolter's. *shudder* And psychers, too.

Quoted for truth. Dreadnought vs Strider= Dreadnought grabs Strider's legs then activates his spinning arms, each in the opposite direction. Strider= Dead. Heck, one Space Marine could take out about three hunters with a Heavy Bolter before dying. Then there's terminator Space Marines, they'd probably, well, eat Advisors for breakfast. Oh, and a Land Raider could probably take out a whole City.
