What im so confused about is Gman. In highway 17 you look threw the eyepeice you gman talking to odess , well odess gave you the RPG so that might have somthing to do with it . Also when breen captures you at the end he said "the offer to the highest bidder" so he knows somthing about . Same with the vortguants , the All knowing talks in cryptex (I havnt heard what he says but I will see what hes on about).

it had no relation to the Combine, he/she/it was fleeing them. Tho it was the enslaver of the Vortigaunts.
