It definately was misinterpreted, as Laidlaw has stated in numerous e-mails that he's not allowed to support or deny any theory a fan makes.

Alll Right All Right All right he just looked kinda monged up as all, but i ask you this, if the combine have enslaved so many then it is possible that this person is merely from another planet, because as we all know there MUST be intelligent life on another planet and of the millions that exist there is an EXTREAMLY high chance that it was a human from another planet :dozey:

First things first: There is not a SINGLE actual combine alien on earth. The combine soldiers are humans upgraded with combine technology, little more.

but if that was true then the headcrabs, the antlions, the ictyasaur, the alien soldiers from the first game, Big Blue, nilianth, gonarch, all them would speak english, dont forget also the lot of the monsters from OP FORCE or BLUE SHIFT
basicly it cant be true that all aliens speak english and a "Psychich" isnt real anyway, oh and don't try aliens arn't real cos A there HAS to be somewhere in the universe and B its a game....

nihlanth, like riomhare said, is phsycic. you don't have to be able to speak english just to put images and sounds or communicate ideas to another person who speaks english(or at least from what we've seen of the half life depiction of being phsycic). this is evident when the combine advisor talks to breen. we don't here him talking because he doesn't know english. he's just communicating through this mind control. Now granted, what breen is hearing in his mind is english, but the advisor doesn't have to have a previous grasp of any human language, at least i don't think, to communicate with them.

I think combine soldiers are human because remember at the beginning of the game (HL2) in the station a combine deliberately knocks a can off onto the floor and told the player to pick it up and then attacked the player with the batton after the player (u) picked it up??? Thats a human behaviour to tease others who r weaker.

I think it would be benificial to have a library of sorts for everything we know about hl2... perhaps hl2.net already has one? or should have one?

anyways i always thought the combine were aliens because of their ability to move through the sheilds, however i suppose this could be due to the makeup of their suit or something?

Combine solidiers and CP"s are human.

Lets get that right. They have every freakin human feature in the world. If i had the time and money, i can build an Combine Solidier Uniform.

CP's are humans who have combine technology in suits, but are not actually augmented. They have a basic face mask, and uniform, but no real augmentation. Combine solidiers, which you encounter at the end of ravenholm are augmented. They have been changed to be more efficient and deadly. They obliterate enemies, and are powerful.
Combine Super Elites, are Combine solidiers, who are heavily augmented and heavily enhanced. ONe thing that everyone seems to believe, is that the transhuman forces (combine solidiers and elites and CP's) are basically robotlike. Not at all. They retain almost every facet of humanity. WHile they are loyal only to the combine (why is unknown), they have human emotions. CP's scream for help when attacked, laugh and act more relaxed. We don'thave direct proof, but we know that the Prison Guards at Nova Prospekt, must have been relatively human. Afterall the lady's voice says that if the transhuman forces fail in their mission, they will be immeadiately shipped off-world. An uneccesary statement to robots.

Combine aliens are a race that has via techonolgy raised up an army conquering other aliens and using them and making them more powerful, so that they will be victorious.
