You may or may not remember me from a long time back. My old user name was Rude Ken, obviously. My name is Ken, and I am currently working towards my doctorate in Law. As some of you may or may not know, achieving a doctorate degree requires one to write a thesis paper on specific topics. I am an active internet user so I thought it would be a promising goal if I performed my topic on "Behavior of Individuals on the internet". What better way to see how people react to situations, then on a forum. This was not the only forum I conducted my research in however. I have used countless forums , because the human mind doesn't just reset after having an experience with another individual. One of my other sources, for examples, was http://www.specialistsmod.net/, along with countless help forums, basically I was looking for tight communities. I have used tons and tons of different approaches and attitudes with other forums to see the reactions. My results are quite promising. Without further background information, here is the basis of information I attained from this specific forum:
My approach - Have a regular basis with the users, and become known by the majority. Use edgy opinions to comprehend what majority is consisting of blatant ignorant fools, and what majority is open and worthy of actual discussion, this of course is internet behavior, so keep in mind a bully on the internet can "MAYBE" be a total coward in real life. the internet is a GREAT source for misdirected anger.
Results - My results were quite pleasing. "Asshats" and "Non Asshats" posted in great amounts. Although my focus was based more on the "Asshats" the "Non Asshats" were still needed. I fueled the flames of the "Asshats" by just supporting my opinions even more, or by blatant provocation at some times.
The reason I am posting this is not only because I thank these individuals for me using there behavior secretly, but also to reward the people who honestly are good people. The people who can deal with a new person, and not spark a fight have true character. The people who can rise above are winners of society. On the other hand you have scum. The people who ruin every experience that honest people enjoy. These people feed off of negative emotions as a thrill. I am aware that this is only a forum, but behavior on the internet usually reflects behavior in real life. I leave you with a ban, and this:
