Anyway, I think its some kind of portal technology thats so great that it could defeat the combine forces on Earth. Of course, as usual Gordon isn't gonna stop and think "Hey, what if I didn't..."

And end up playing right into the Gmans hands.

BM made the ice inhibitor, Aperture made something totally unrelated (GLaDOS) yet tried to 'sell' it for the same purpose. in portal it looks like they think black mesa is stupid for doing realistic and reasonable projects, and aperture does out of this world crazy shit.

These are the things I suspect are in the Borealis. I doubt all of them are in there but at least one is.

Nothing flashy like a portal or weapon but some files on a computer or in a cabinet that point Gordon & Alyx to the Apeture science enrichment center.

I hope it's the last one (althogh it would be awesome to play as Chuck) and Along the way before they go into the ASEC they find Chell scratching a living off were ever she is or find here in a resistence town. Then she leads them in to the ASEC to get whatever it is they need and before they leave they fight GLaDOS again this time they kill her dead for ever.
