Counter-Strike: Source Binks

i tried extracting it but when it gets to 99% it finds a corrupt file in the folder and then shuts down :(
 
damn, i'm gonna have to re-download it.......i hate ****ing fileplanet
 
My download stopped at 75%.... :| I want Fileplanet to die.
 
Nevermind, Filerush is working now. It is the first link on the right side under User Submitted Files.

i was being throttled to 10Mbs. Now I'm at 100Mbs, so try again and SEE THE DIFFERENCE! ;-)
 
just so you know, the server shuts off when it runs out of bandwidth. That means hurry before it goes; These CS:S videos have been sucking my server dry lately.
 
Well, the vid was okay but i dont think it even shows 1 minute of play, plus its a little better then watching the original but not too much better but it is a big spoiler
 
If that introduction could be cut out (which it should be), I bet that video would be no more than 50/70 megs.

BTW, I have purchased an aditional server and will be taking orders soon, so hang tight.
 
Stupidpeiceofshitonyourface-planet seemed to have wanted to corrupt my download as usual.

Damn, 1 hour and 5 minutes from 3dGamers. It's about the same time it takes to get it from FilePlanet...Oh well. I'm excited for CS:source but they should release some DoD: source info (screens,videos). Im in gaming heaven right now :)

I was downloading from Johan's link, when all of a sudden the link went down at 97% and the site is also down too :( Does anyone have an alternate link for the download that isn't FilePlanet?

im glad everyone is enjoying me 3DGamers link. I hate sites that make u sign up for stuff just for videos that are meant to be free anyway.

By the way, arent you guys glad that HL2 girls post is finally dead now?

Mine was. The built in windows XP Zip viewer wouldn't actually extract it. I did use 7-zip [ http://www.7-zip.org/ ] And while it had an error message, it did do the extraction, and for whatever reason the bink ran fine. Perhaps the error occured the CRC data itself? For those on slower connections this may be the easier way than redownloading.
 
I signed up for an account with Fileplanet and Fileshack years ago, its not like you have to pay for basic registration. Anyway, my files have never been corrupt from them. The video is exactly what they showed at E3 2004 but its at 1024x768 resolution and is direct feed. Windows built in Zip extracted it just fine and I really enjoyed finally seeing the video in its true colors and looking at the details. That last Terrorist that flipped backwards over the ramp was awsome... CS: Source is Counter-Strike finally updated and mature, I can't wait to it.

PS: I got it from Fileshack and the wait was only 30 seconds... I'm a little late getting to the party but sometimes its not such a bad thing :)
 
Unimpressed. The textures are so bland, both on the models and the environments. If it didn't come free with HL2 I definitely would not be buying it.
 
HL2Grounds.net also have it available for download in the "Resources" section of our forum for registered members (Registration takes 30 seconds, and Fileplanet takes...a while).


By the way, it looks just awesome, a vast improvement. I saw and heard stuff I never saw, such as bird calls, creaking of the bridge, and just lovely texture details. The models sill need a little work, but it all just looks cool.
Birds, bridges, and bombs, oh my! ^_^

Took me a lot less than 30 seconds. :E Much better than waiting in line for 33 minutes on Fileplanet. :)
