I never really played it hardcore but I picked it up pretty quickly... I started back in beta and played it now and then, got very good at it but stopped playing around 1.3 because of all the cheaters and foul-mouthed kids polluting every server.
Didn't play it for a year or so, but recently since steam ive played it a few times again and i'm still pretty good, I guess its like riding a bike. I don't like how all the weapons have changed names and menu locations though, keep buying a damn scout.

I think once CS Source is out i'll be playing that a lot too.

AWP change was probably one of the best things they did to the game

As soon as they changed the AWP the average player number went up by about 8k players. But that could be because it was about ramping up towards summer time.

This is what i didnt want, people asuming im crap because im having a rant about the accracy of weapons, trust me i was a good player, of course you wont believe me and i dont know what to type to think other wise, but dont assume im a n00b because im saying i carnt kill any thing in 1.6.
