we're talking about walking down to your local consumer store and picking up a pretty blue xp box that has big "64bit edition" on it .. that's called being widely and easily available, not having to download a beta from the microsoft website which isn't supported, or can expire, or just plain suck with games, programs and so on.

Here's a link to an avi of the PDC 2005. Enjoy! The Crytek discussion is around 1:22:30 or so, but then the content of the video we have all seen anyway can't be shown. STrange, but he does confirm it will ship simultaneously with Vista.

Smart move not showing a game that requires DX10, as gpu sales might slump until new ones are out that support it!

Just right-click on the Download link on the German site and hit Save Link As and it will save it as something like dlld.php.avi, so it will play as an .AVI movie iirc.

Not the short 2 min one. I want to download the big 3 hour one in my quote above.

I download the file but its still buffers when i click on it. Id like the whole video on my dt.

When I watch this movie, all i can think about is "Dang, I'm serving an LDS Mission and when I get back, my Comp will be the equivelent of a calculator and games wont probably matter cuz I'll soon be getting married."

hmm...everyone seems impressed right now with this engine but remember when Far Cry was finally released? it was such a 50-50 split on what people thought of the engine and all the bugs which accompanied it.

i'll just reserve judgement.

Yup, and I loved it from the very first moment I played the demo! The game was awesome and the engine ran great on my old pc with its 9800 pro. I still love that game, but obviously can't wait for the next iteration of the engine. Gonna have to upgrade even from my current position near the top of the line PC heap. At least I have a year or two before it releases .
