You should see what I did to my thumb. With an exacto knife. I almost cut the right side of it, next to the finger nail, clean off. It was hanging by like a millimeter of skin.

Back many years ago when I was a kid, I used to build a lot of models and would constantly be getting cut by the exacto. Not a fun thing for sure.

Worst cut I ever saw was when I worked as a carpet installer. The guy I was working with was cutting carpet to fit a corner and he slipped and cut his finger (don't remember which one) to the bone. eeek. Was mighty gruesome.

Knew someone who closed a Swiss army knife the wrong way, kinda hard and quickly too, and it cut straight to the bone. Back when he was 13-ish or somethin.

Arf, i've done the same thing with a shuriken, held it wrong and sliced my hand to hell.

Cut thumbs and fingers are always the best, best for pointing at people who dont like cuts, good for gettting out of doing work and good because they really really hurt if you try to pick up something hot.

how can you get cut so easily, people. i play with knives all the time, and have owned/ used many in my lifetime (15 years). the most i've ever cut myself it was hardly anything, and i just pinched it a bit, cut the blood off, sucked my finger a bit, and carried on playing :E.

But seriously, why'd you need stitches? Would it absolutely not close / stop bleeding?

Stitches on that? You might end up hurting yourself more with that than actually helping it heal. In fact, if you did it wrong you could end up infecting the finger, getting gangrene and having to chop it off!

I have a scar on my left thumb from a really nasty wound I got when I was 12, a fan trapped my thumb and nearly sliced it in half, to this day (I am now 19) I have a scar through the middle of the thumb and up to the first joint of the thumb, it's like a small crevace on my thumb
