Say you send 300.00 to someone, it does not deduct 300.00 from your account until the other person accepts it. So when you canceled before and did not get any money back, it was because it had never taken the money from your account in the first place.
 
Good news - Justinastan offered a peace treaty, which means that I'll be able to destroy him by getting another 100 soldiers. I'm gonna get this son of a b*tch one way or the other.



EDIT: are we going to have elections for the leader of the republic/federation? If so, I think Solaris's answer to the only 4 aid per ten days problem is good.

I didnt start the war and I never attacked him I am in a war with another country and I dont have time to attack him. I had no plan to attack him and he declared war on me so I think you are mistaken, but I will declare peace but I cant guarantee that he will agree. Sorry

Alright, I have been brainstorming and jotting down ideas for our announcement post on the official forums. Here is what I have so far.

"Hello fellow Cyber Nationites. I am here to deliver an announcement.

There is a new alliance emerging. An alliance bound together through a powerful community of gamers. We are known as "The Republic of HalfLife2.net". We are a peaceful nation that is here to establish a name for ourselves and expand our borders. We will fiercly defend our freedoms and express our rights when endangered. We seek peace so that we may prosper from that gift and concentrate on expansion.

We are spread accross the globe and seek to unite ourselves through a common interest we all share. We all seek to aspire to achieve euphorism through accomplishing our grand goals which in time you may see for yourselves.

With that I will leave you all to return to your nations and I hope to see you abroad."

Alright, so how is that? It is a rough draft. Anything need to be added or changed? I wasn't too sure what adrien wanted released at this point so I made it rather general. more so a message that sends a feeling of peace but has a harsher underlying aggressive tone with a few words like fierce, expansion and what not. Not quite enough to make them suspicious and be like "LOL wtf?" but to make it obvious when they look in hindsight.

We need to add those who fill all our cabinet positions to the foot of the response, to give a sense of proffesionalism. It'd also make us look less bold, and more thought through and organized.

EDIT:

ORGANIZATION WITHIN THE REPUBLIC

We ALL need to add a link to our nation to our signatures. That way, it's easy to see which nation is giving forth the oppinions as we read them. It's like how the United Nations has little flags next to the seats.

**** YEAH!!!

Both together are 17% additional land expansion per day.

And that's exactly what i'm trying to do, is crank up my natural land expansion rate, so I can focus my funds on infrastructure.

I'm asking Danimal if he'd be okay with me breaking trade with him.

If he needs my Aluminum and Fishk, then i'm probably going to just cut somebody else off without warning.
 
He has Water, so he don't need fish. And Aluminium benefits only the military.



So, in order for our military coup we need to cut the others down on stradgeical resources. :)

Day of taxes: Boost tax rate to maximum, collect taxes, lower tax rate to the rate that citizens were happy with.
Result: Extra income, population as happy as they were...

Actually, that lowers happiness and also the amount they earn.

Yeah, it only counts your tax rate daily, and at what you last collected taxes at.

So this is basically the same thing as boosting your taxes permanently, only it looks better when other people view your profile.
