^^^
From merc's recent trip to Valve, he got a photo of the whiteboard.
In a list of things that will be kept in the game, there was 'Dark Energy'.
Check the site up there for more info on what dark energy is.

Now, I've picked this quote from the wikipedia site:
Some believe that dark energy might be "vacuum energy", represented by the "cosmological constant" ([Mecha-note: This space should be a Lambda Symbol]) in general relativity.

So, the Lambda also means Dark Energy. :O
The plot thickens...

I wouldn't look for alot of truth in that whiteboard

Well, the 'keeps' section of the board was entirely filled with things that are confirmed to be going in the game, like Barney and the striders.

The only new things are 'Razor Train' and 'Dark Energy'.

And plus, it has the Lambda symbol.
That can't be just a co-incidence. :)

no honestly I think mecha could be onto somthing... the board is facinateing me as well lol

There are new board pics? I didn't spot those... Sounds like the Lambda symbol could have a deeper meaning...

LOL, that was funny. But the Dark Energy does seem plausible, whether or not it has anything to do with the game is another question. Maybe Marc Laidlaw or one of the guys were doing research on the Lambda after that swedish guy asked if it was a symbol for homosexuals. And they found this Dark Energy and ...well, you do the rest.

i know what dark energy is but im not saying anything

ROFL.

Dark Energy - Invisible energy that makes up an obscene amount of the universe (greater than 50%, to lazy to look up the real answer). It isn't a complicated subject to understand, primarily because scientists have not been able to observe it in real life. They have only been able to theorize its existence.

i'm not taking the blackboard too seriously

considering that in the cut items list they have eli's leg

most of that board i'm pretty sure is a gag

Still no real point in saying so, if he's not going to tell us (Not that I'd want him to, but hey...)...

LOL at the triple post thing, though I had to (Look at the time stamps)...
