I jsut got Dead Rising! Spending my first night in the security room XD. Lawn Mowers are so fun. Almost 9 pm, first day.. Open World games, (GTA, Saints Row, Dead Rising..) Are meant to be console games. No PC could ever fully understand the potential.

I found them exactly the same, as did I find everyother game that came out for console and PC... I guess I can happily walk away now knowing I don't have to bicker about something so silly on the internets.

Still need to get a 360 for this. Cooomme onn, Christmas.

This thread annoys me. I keep reading it as "dead rising Super Ted" and then start thinking how awesome that would be. And then my dreams are shattered.

Just giving this thread a jump start, I just got Dead Rising 2 days ago; how is everyone with the game so far? Since the game has been out for quite awhile now.

The only thing bothering me is trying to save and escort all the people, but I always feel rushed, like I can't enjoy the game because there's so many missions going on at once, everytime I finish one mission another call comes in on that damn transceiver.

I've just started Day 2 with battling Carlito again with his sniper rifle. Hard as hell, I can't seem to kill the man this time around. And those stupid guys on the Hummer out in the park.

Yeah that gets annoying at first, but thats really because at first you are so overwhelmed and under-powered that you're going to get your ass handed to you all the time. Thats what makes the game so fun the first time round. Running around frantically and panicking as the zombie crowds get larger and larger as you slowly begin to run out of weapons and health.

For that Carlito mission, just stack up on all the handguns you can get your hands on. I believe theres two zombie cops wading in the water in paradise plaza, up near the entrance to the park. Leech off those guys until you have at least 4 guns with 30 rounds each. That should be enough to take carlito out.
