In its purest form, it is simply a deductive school of thought of "if => then" propositions and conjunctive/dijunctive statements. Binary building blocks with the capacity to form large and complex structures. It doesn't apply to varied subjects such as personal belief, politics, social welfare, or any such thing. Those aren't fields it concerns itself with.
