Did You Guys See This Halloween Costume Someone Made?

I haven't actually seen much of that sort of thing down here in Oz. I hope that by the time it spreads this far we'll have developed some sort of moronicide spray.

I FULLY agree about the "wigga" effect that mtv has had...10 year old kids at school

with guns cause they are little gangstaz,foo'!!...good old California..

"thug-life" runs rampant,almost every commercial on TV has some kind of "tight beats G" feel..

even if it is for little(5-10 year olds)kids..

sorry about the rant there...:D

I bet if he sold his costume to the HL2 communities, and mass produced his costume, he'd be rich in 20 minutes...

I want to do that, go out in public wearing Gordon's HEV suit, and see how many people look at me, and how many people say, "HEY ITS GORDON FREEMAN!"

Man there all over where I live, outside of melbourne It makes me laugh so much to hear little puney white punks talk like goddamn gangsters :sniper:

Me and my buds usually burst out in laughter when we see one of those groups strolling around town, making all those weird hand movemends and saying things like: "duzzik zeg: GaSt!wat loop jenou teh fukkeh!kom hier dan! Zukk0ol."
Man, I just cant help myself at those moments, and yeah they look angry at me, wich make me laugh harder, and eventually they bugger off... never had any problems with them ' gansta's '

We've got the gangsta white kids here. We call them "North Siders" since they all live on the north side of our tiny town and think they're all part of a gang. Ridiculous. Northern Michigan is possibly the farthest from gang life you could possibly live, yet somehow they believe they're living in the ghetto or something.

On a different note, girls look at porn? :eek:
 
It's a good costume but something tells me he wears it even after halloween.

someone mentioned a combine costume. I want to see this. Where can I see a pic of it? Sounds very interesteing.

I noticed that alot of people have questions about what MY costume is made out of so here is the run down:

1. Poster Board (lots of it) we also found some extra thick stuff from an old battery display, it was pretty usefull.

2. Hot melt glue (lots of it... like... 10 long (8 inch) sticks

3. (squishy) Foam, (about 2 sheets of 64x24) Some of this was left over.

4. Spraypaint. Orange mostly ;)

5. Black latex Caulking: This stuff spread really well and was used for most of the black parts of the costume.

6. Orange fabric. for the soft parts of the costume.

7. Some nice gloves from Home Depot, added the Lamba logo to them.

8. Black streachy turtleneck. and some tight black sweats. (womans lol)


9. 1 Pair of nerd glasses (painted black, prescription lenses popped out, some flat plastic lenses added.


10. Some dark grey pleather (on sale!)

11. Other odds and ends to complete the costume.

My friend Emily helped me with alot of the details of the costume such as painting details etc. I would like to express my huge thanks to it her.

It took about 2 weeks, we worked on it really heavy the last 4 days. It was ready by friday morning (after staying up till 5AM!)

If anyone has any more questions, please let me know!

I plan on putting up a small website in the next few days documenting the creation of the costume.
