Did you like Goldeneye Facility? I liked Goldeneye Facility...

Oh forgot to say that, yes, the remix version will include the other parts... Perhaps a little changed to accompany a smooth deathmatchh layout but they will be there :)
 
Releasing two maps is a good idea. But it may have the problem of dividing up people and confusing them. Maybe you should release one before the other or something. I dont know...

I always used my GameShark to get to those areas in MP.

I think a complex remake would be top-notch; wow, this is making me want to play GoldenEye.

I think I'm going to try remaking the bunker complex...

I think probably 50% of the appeal is that almost all of us have a very soft place in our hearts for Goldeneye :D
 
Goldeneye = best console FPS, ever :D My friends and I played that game for damn near a year before we got bored of it. Can't say that for any other console game.
 
this looks superb mate! i used to love goldeneye as do so many people.

goldeneye: source would kick some serious ass!

Ah, Goldeneye, such a great game. First game I ever managed to set up a tourny at my school as a fundraiser, a LOT of people had the game.

I know it sounded a bit narky, and i'm sorry for treading on anyones toes.. It's just i would hate to see jonny's excellent work and feedback on it be altered because halfway someone starts talking about something totally off topic...

But dont take wat i say to heart, if you think i'm wrong chat about whatever you want. Just dont forget about Jonny's excellent work and the thread he started ;) :)

BTW Jonny, hows the testing going?? Any closer :upstare:
 
Honestly, remake the complex!! It'll be a great tribute to Goldeneye and the fantastic multiplayer of Perfect Dark. And I'd pay (a small amount) to see either game remade in Source. It wouldn't be the same but it'd be next-gen mixed with nostalgia and that can't be bad.
 
Holy carp, and yes, I said carp, like the fish. That is one sweeeeet map :) I love goldeneye, heck, I might dig it out someday and start playing it again.
 
If all goes well, a progress update tonight with new shots perhaps?

And maybe tommorrow I will show off some prelim shots of complex and library... either tommorrow or on the weekend(I work Thursday and Friday unfortunately)...

Late Christmas gift? We will see. :)

prolly because copying someone elses map isnt exactly "resume" material!

NOT TO BASH ON YOU BRO, cuz this map does look good as shit, but being able to recreate a map isnt exactly smooth resume material ;)

so what if he's ripping a layout of a previous map...it's just the layout he's copying, everything else is completely original...that's certainly resume material...
 
Sorry about the delay. To be honest, yesterday(Wednesday) I was distracted lol...

I got World of Warcraft and it has been sucking my life away...

No worries though because late last night in this morning I worked on alot of the problems, and made alot of progress from alpha to what I think is now in beta form...

Which means not to many changes going to be made now in terms of new architecture.

The version I am talking about is the classic version... The "Remix" version will be an extension of this one, which will come out after "Classic"...

Also, I told you guys about Complex and Library(Stack)... Well I have started work on some preliminary stuff, I am not ready to show anything just yet. Give me till the weekend. :)

Thanks guys and tonight will be the progress update from our second beta test with some new shots.. I swear!! :p
