It might be a little weird if I contact him and go "HAHA HEY I KNOW YOUR FRIEND FROM THE INTERNET" but I might ask closer to the end of the holidays. :p
 
Are you doing one of those degrees where you get it turned into a Masters for simply staying alive for 5 years after graduating?

My sister went to Lincoln and had that.

What course are you doing, and what year, if I might ask?
 
English Language and Literature, fresher. Unfortunately I would have to do more than stay alive to get a masters. I love the study but I probably won't stay on as a postgrad. I don't want to be an academic forever.

There are more opportunities to learn after you get out of school than when you're in school. I graduated college when I was 20 hardly learning anything & now I learn tons of new stuff every day! :)

I am an inkling that you're never really going to come into contact with him, which is a shame. At some point I might visit Oxford to see him, and promptly come stalk you.

This was my christmas beard, it's been shaved off along with my hair but i didn't have a more recent photo.

 
One time I had a dream where these two girls from my school had big full beards, and I was really ****ing jealous.
 
People will hate me for saying this, but bears are overrated imo.

My opinion possibly has nothing to do with the fact beards are uncommon in my family. I've never had one. *shrug*

I do know a guy though, he has a beard and he's pretty frickin cool and hilarious.

It's all well and good until people start tugging on it, you'd be suprised how many people do!

It's easier having a beard than shaving tho, a twice daily activity if i want to stay clean shaven, so i opt for 'designer stubble' with the beard gone.
 
Moustaches are better than beards. When I grow my real moustache when I get out of this Catholic school in May, you will all cream your pants by what I've done with it. It's gunna be a sexy surprise ;)

You could keep it stuffed up your nostrils, and then when you blew hard through your nose the moustache would pop out and fluffle people in the face.
