My friend had/has some annoying ass sound that goes "MMM BOP!" whenever he signs on to AIM. I had to spend some of my VALUABLE time figuring out how to turn off sounds. God damn AIM with all its annoying as sounds and "graphic enhancements".

I've learned that simple classic AIM sounds are best as well, a few months ago I cleverly changed the sign in noise to a GLaDOS sound file, "Your specimen has been processed" and the sign out sound to the Civil Protection sound file "Lost Biosignal for Protection Team Unit".

But soon I learned to hate it when I had my volume turned way up for quiet videos and I would be interrupted several times in a row by someone signing on and off for no reason, "YOUR SPECIMEN HAS BEEN-LOST BIOSIGNAL FOR-YOUR SPECIMEN HAS BEEN PROC- LOST BIOSIGNAL FOR PROTECTION-YOUR SPECIMEN HAS BEEN PROCESSED"
