do nerds get the hottest girls in the end?

Basically, beyond high school, the "nerd" or "geek" label starts meaning diddly squat and your chances of getting laid are more dependent on other characteristics. This is assuming, of course, your respective geekiness/nerdiness is kept in check.
 
eh, I am a nerd, but I have a hawt/beautiful fiance =) Then again, I'm not the run of the mill stereotypical pimple faced nerd that haxs the interweb for fun either.

I'm a gamer at heart, gamer geek even. So I guess it all depends on how you act and what kind of characteristics the girl looks for in a guy.
 
Well I would most of us are nerds, but most of us must go out often and do other things to (most of us anyway). Pure example, the band Muse, they are nerds, Matt Bellamy is obsessed with conspiracies and science fiction and he played classical piano while at school, but because he creates awsome music and is extremely popular, any girl would go for him. So in that context, yes they can get any girl.

In fact, my older sister told that girl tend to go for inteligence more than big dumb brutes, and they prefer thin but sexy types than big bulky guys. If you aint afraid of socialising, you do other interesting things apart from gaming and you have the right personality, you get anyone me thinks

I really can't be assed with "getting some". Not that I dislike it or anything as stupid as that. I'll certainly take it when I can get it. But seriously... pussy on a pedestal, and all that.

If you have the right personality, and if you have enough confidence in yourself... you can get any girl you want.

Absolutely 100% true. Without looks girls wont be interested in the first place. Looks reel them in and confidence/personality gets em back to your place.

Much like a game, graphics get people interested and awesome gameplay hooks people.
 
As superficial as it seems, it's the truth.

And I ain't even claiming to be a good looking guy. Far from it. I'm an unkempt, irregularly shaved, smoker bastard. That's not even including the geek factor. But I still somehow (with all my astonished) disbelief, still manage to attract a fair amount of girls that my obese or acne-impaired equivalents can't. And I'm not exactly chalking that up to any kind of charming personality.

I guess i would class myself as a 'nerd' by the fact i spend hours on the internet and make models over going out clubbing.
I find that whilst being reasonably attractive to women i tend to intimidate them, i am aware of that and it makes it hard for me to approach them.

Oh and the fact most people view me as being in my late 20's early 30's dosn't help when trying to attract a woman of my real age.

Yeah, true.
With today's shallow youth.

As long as you aren't overly skinny, really fat, or covered in acne.
You should always look clean. I

tend to shave every day, shower in the morning... when I come home from school... after work... or before going out.

Working out isn't a bad idea either, I tend to go running around the block late at night.
And occasionally during the weekends, I'll go to the gym and lift weights.

As for serious acne, I had it for awhile a couple of years ago... I just used Proactive, it seemed to work fairly well.
 
All my mates keep telling i could easily get any girl i just dont try hard enough lol, if that was the case wouldn't a girl have found me by now, its been like two years since i had a girlfriend but i dont care. We are all nerds pretty much but i believe there is the perfect match for everyone, i mean we are in a world inhabited but billions.
 
You can't wait for things to fall into your lap, you have to go out and look for them :)

I have to say this,

While I was taking the child psychology course, this girl has been flirting with me for a great deal of time and she always says "Heyyy, whats up?" in class & I sit there like "err um what's up?" (In a very low voice) I didn't expect it from a girl of her calibre & she looks awesome.

Then later on while we were reading a book about this mother whom consitantly horribly abuses her son, I volunteered to read the book. Then after I read my part because my throat was sore, she yells out--"Awww but I love him!" then immediatly my reaction is that I blush & I am like "D:", I never expected something like that. The whole class is like "Awww thats so sweet!!!"

If you looked at me, you would say "THERE IS NO ****ING WAY!" I look pretty average, my weight is slightly below average, & I have some some achme... some. Well I am growing a mustache (A Keith Hernandez/ Ron Burgandy type mustache) maybe girls like that, after all Keith Hernandez was a ladies man hence his profession. Maybe its my blonde hair, I have no idea what it is. Maybe she prefers brains over brawns.


Even though I dress stylish (Baggy paints & hoodie sweater), I still have characteristics of a "nerd", I hardly ever go out, I love computers, I love video games, & I go on forums daily.
