My friend just bought one for his Birthday, he had been saving up for a good few months. I think they are pointless, crappy and overprice peices of hardware which need not exist.
 
Only fags use Macs.
 
I do all my video shits on my mac, everything else on my PC.

I honestly never saw the use in a mac, PC does everything a mac can do but better, but the reason people love macs so much more is because they don't require as much knowledge to be able to use them effectively, so basically what I'm saying here is only retards use macs.
 
I had a friend that kept going on how Mac's are prefect and are immune to viruses. I found a Mac virus and infected his MAC, that soon shut him up.
 
the only reason why people fall into the mac vs pc debate is because they cant afford to own both ..it's the same with xbox360 vs ps3, blue ray vs hd-dvd, betamax vs vhs

My friend used a Mac for about 3 years or so, MBPro, he always talked about how awesome and fast it was. Did whatever he wanted. Then one day I talk to him and he's like
"btw I'm selling my Mac"
"Why?"
"I see your point, what a ****ing waste of money, I can do all this crap on my PC and its just as fast."

He got $2000 for it, heh. Thanked me for it.

macs have their advantages. PCs have their advantages.
mac have their disadvantages. PCs have windows.
 
the problem isnt the poll it's the fact that the poll is at hl2.net ..most of you cant afford a pack of gum much less 2 computers. these sort of polls are slanted in the other direction on sites where most people have established careers



I didnt vote because I'm neither here nor there when it comes to the debate on macs and pc because they're just ****ing tools to get shit done ..it's like debating the merits between black and decker and dewalt ..who cares, they both get the job done. The ONLY reason why I have a pc is because of gaming

Please allow me to laugh loudly as I direct your attention to your post in the iPod shuffle thread.

If you think the difference between a shuffle and a normal MP3 player is somehow markedly more significant than the difference between a Mac and a PC...

And what in the hell does anything have to do with established careers? What, because we're not all 60 years old like you, we have zero money and can't afford anything? Tons of us have jobs here and or a source of money from their parents. Also Christmas.

I've used them more than a couple times on my campus. There's nothing to them beyond price and gimmicky looks yet there's a cult following to them.
 
I pretty much like Macs for their design. It's just so sleek and sexy. Other than that, they're pretty meh.
 
My G1 phone rapes the Iphone. Why? because it's not made by Apple.
