do you have the wikileaks "insurance" file

Uhh...no?

What is the basis of your skepticism? Is thousands of years of verifiable science and actual photographs that you are free to look up not good enough for you?

I'm pretty sure that being skeptical about the Earth being flat is a good thing.

Um, what? The **** are you talking about. I think you ****ed up a sentence somewhere and you're confusing everybody.

Hahaha.

Obvious typo aside, in what way is all that evidence equivalent to what's being presented here? Much of what's being discussed at the moment is heresy and guesswork (as well as a decent helping of character assassination :p), so I don't see how that example is pertinent. If there is a reasonable amount of room for skepticism, then it may warrant questioning. I was under the impression that basically everyone here operated on that principle.

Despite the slip of the word 'skeptical' into meaning 'suspicious' ("I'm skeptical about.../suspicious of..."), skepticism, as an attitude, precedes evidence. To be properly skeptical of the earth's sphericality is to accept it when confronted with overwhelming evidence and would mean being cautious of it in the absence of such evidence. Skepticism is almost always a good thing when properly practiced. And I only say 'almost' because I don't know for certain that it's always good.

A disclaimer: from now on if you see any of my posts after 9PM mountain time just ignore then. K? Thanks.

Since when do terrorists go after targets critical to infrastructure? LOL, They don't. They try to blow themselves up in times square.

Get real. You guys haven't even read any of the wikileaks documents. You guys are worried about a list of obvious targets? Anyone with half of a brain could find such places on their own. How about the cables that are really significant? Like how the Saudis are funding Al-Qaeda, for example? The media is just attracting all attention away from anything of actual significance, and you fools are all falling for it.

Its not the weird animations that makes me facepalm, but the fact that they mixed up Switzerland with Sweden but still got the swedish flag right.
