Do you like cheese?

Cheese friggin ROCKS!

Eating cheese n' crackers with grapes is so yum
Brie! I love Brie with pomegranates on it, or Tangerine spread.

I just hate having cheese/dairy breath, so I brush my teeth almost immediately after eating it.

I like American cheese, mostly because I am a peasant.

It's really not that bad, keeps long, and is made to be put on things.

love cheese..
rockefort ( or something like that) is my fav.

I love cheese. I'll go have some Manchego and Edam now. I am able to eat much cheese in a single sitting, and without anything else. On a sidenote: I hate wine, seriously.

Well, I prefer Vodka to any other alcoholic compound I've tasted, beer isn't really that great for me although I still drink it when it's the only stuff available, wine I can't drink, why would you say it's better than beer? Perhaps I'm just not classy enough to value wine.

A bit of Cheddar on a digestive biscuit = the win

A digestive biscuit? That sounds... unappetizing.

Ohh... you'll just love what we have for you today. We have a beautiful array of cheeses to select from. They can be eaten as is, or we can melt them for you so you can enjoy the rich flavors in a whole new way. And for your sampling pleasures... we have a giant honking plate of digestive biscuits!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digestive_biscuit

A digestive biscuit, sometimes referred to as a sweetmeal biscuit, is a semi-sweet biscuit or cookie, originating in the United Kingdom, and popular there and in other Commonwealth countries. The name "digestive" derived from the belief that they had antacid properties due to the use of bicarbonate of soda when they were first developed.

The digestive was invented by McVitie's in Edinburgh in 1892 by Alexander Grant. They were advertised as aiding digestion, yet subsequent scientific research has concluded this as untrue. While rumours exist that consequently it is illegal for them to be sold under that name in the USA, in fact they are widely available in imported food sections of grocery stores and by mail order. The Original Digestive biscuit is still the ninth biggest biscuit brand in the UK.

Yes, I do.

There is a cheese from Wensleydale thats a cheddar with caramelized onions in it. It's absolutely wonderful!

I LOVE Cheese.

I like cheese, but I somewhat dislike the taste of cream cheese. Bleh. :/

I'm currently not a fan of soft cheeses whatsoever. Probably because I was raised on a diet of "let's only ever have cheddar and mozzarella, all those other cheeses are weird".

I'll be making an effort to combat this in the future.

But mozzarella is a soft cheese isn't it? I loooooooove mozzarella.

mozzarella is generally semi-hard ..just like what's in my pants :naughty:

anyways it's almost impossible to shred soft cheese

Get out. Yes you will be making an effort. I am sending you brie and camembert.

For the record HELL YES I like cheese. Especially those mentioned above.

Can you send me some brie and camembert? I never heard of camembert, but I've heard of brie and hear it's amazingly delicious. But I've never tried nor even seen any.

What the hell, never tried Brie?

Hand in your cow-card right now.

I would send you brie and camembert in a second! It is lovely lovely. French cheese is the finest, obviously.

I got some brie! It was really expensive too for a relatively small wedge. I bet it's far cheaper in Europe where it's made frequently and fresh all the time.

Any tips on how I should eat it to enjoy it the most? Crackers, fruit, glass of wine?

EDIT: Come on somebody tell me! I'm dying to try it! I eat the mold/rind too right?

Mmmm, I'm eating a muffin with some gouda and farmer's cheese

Trust me it's a tried and tested combination and it's pretty popular in the UK.

Your mission should you choose to accept it is to hunt down a packet of Digestives, buy a big slab of Mature Cheddar and pig out, Cheese on Biscuit (no butter). Then report back here with your conclusions :)

Oh wow... this Brie is certainly something else. It's a taste I will have to acquire further. I've never had a cheese this soft before. It's... wow, almost so soft you could easily spread it! This coming from a guy who mostly has American fare cheddars and colby's and the occasional mozzarella and feta... Quite something different indeed.

It's very buttery tasting. I had it with a piece of crusty french bread, because I had nothing else on hand that seemed really appropriate, and am drinking a glass of wine as well. Wrapped all the rest up back nice and tight and put it in the fridge.

Brie works well with dry crackers, and yeah, french bread. Port goes well with cheese, even moreso than other wines - the sweetness really offsets the strong flavour of cheese.

Now apply that brie to a bacon and cranberry sauce toasted sandwich and you've got a one way ticket to orgasm town.

Do I like cheese.

Do I - what are you asking? Does the Pope shit in the woods?

EDIT: wait a minute

IF you eat too much cheese over a short period of time, it will give you bad gas.

Otherwise cheese must only be consumed in it's native form: MELTED! All other forms are a sin and abomination to it's cheezy goodness!

I have a jar of Cheddar Flavored Cheese Sauce on my desk.

:D
