I think there should have been opportunity to just hang out with the characters like Alyx. The game (and its characters) were too damed pushy. No room for user interaction,. they just read the script and push you out the door.

Is it just me, or does it seem like soon everyone will forget what the orginial questions were...entire groups will devote themselves to trying to find out the mystery of the Ancient Questions, which, it is believed, contain the Meaning of Life Itself. Everone will speak only in answers to the four questions but as no-one knows what they were the answers will be to what people imagine the questions were. A 3D model she may be, but is the first video game model I've ever found attractive. Not attractive as in I have fantasys of meeting a real life Alyx, but attractive as in you might find a well done movie character attractive. Its probably because most video game characters to date have either looked unrealistic or been unrealistic in some other way, usually both. I mean, you have to admit, for a 3D model, she is extremely realistic, lifelike, and has a personality . Unlike most video game models, her breasts aren't enormous, shes not weraring any spandex, she loves her father yet still has a real temper, she has no shitty one-liners, she wears a realistic amount of clothing, and she cares about her cause. Its the fact that she is as real as real actress could ever play a role in a movie that she is attractive, nothing more, nothing less. You know she likes Gordon, but its not the shitty "Star Wars Attack of the Clones" chemistry you see in other video games. She's heard all about you and deep down considers you a living legend, but still treats you human... she's obviously hesitant to express her feelings about you since you're Gordon ****in Freeman. Remember when she sees you captured in Breens office? Damn good 'acting,' writing, everything! Her whole role is very well done, from a story standpoint to a graphical standpoint, etc.

I meant chronologically. Remember Gordon was put in stasis at the end of Half-Life 1. Back then he was 26. It's been quite some time since then. He is still, of course, biologically around the same age as Alyx. Still, Eli should now that Gordon is a lot older than he looks.
