I must say i usually like gamespot and their reviews r usually fair with games. but i am not sure if its just me or something but i get the fealing they dont really like hl2 for some reason , it wasnt even mentioned in the e3 2004 awards, and its rarely in their top 10 most popular games.

Well, for one thing, it was at E3 last year and nothing really new or amazing was shown this year. Secondly, who cares if it's in their top 10 most popular list (which I've seen it on many many times). The top game on that list for the last few days has been "Singles", some crappy dating sim that's built for loser 14 year old boys to get wood over because there are polygonal boobies in it.

I think a little lowering of the invincible aura surrounding Half-Life 2 was needed. It's still just a first person shooter after all.

I check them all. Really though, If you check out there interviews and previews they all say pretty much the same damm thing. They all have the same pics and all, none of them have anything exclusive. They all get there respective time and demo's with the devs.

The only difference is how slack you feel, if your feeling energetic, you take the time to type g-a-m-e-s-p-o-t, if your feeling slack you can shorten that by one letter and just typ g-a-m-e-s-p-y. And if your feeling lazy like a drugged sloth, you just typ 3 letters, i-g-n.
