Does somebody knows wht is this?

Still vaguely reminiscent of the bridge point of HL2, with the cliff-face and the train above it. Not sure if it was meant to be that, or an entrance to nova prospekt.

No it looks in-game to me, but its aint in Half-Life 2 or episode 1 thats for sure

OMG!!! its a gigantic, state-of-the-art, combine toaster! :naughty:

No it is, i remember it clearly from pre-HL2 launch a long time ago. It's concept art as beerend said.

This vaguely reminds me of the Combine Depot, notice the railway going through it, and the general shape.

That's the combine depot. In earlier versions of Half-Life 2 it was a dropoff point for trains before the Air Exchange(which was also in earlier versions of Half-Life 2).

This picture has already been posted in the Missing Information mod thread but here it is incase you didn't see it.

This is MI's recreation of the depot section(which will be in an upcoming release), I wonder why there is water there though? It's a work in progress most likely anyway.

In retail HL2, the depot is integrated into nova prospekt. You can see it when you fight the 2 gunships right outside the prison walls. I believe when you first meet Alyx in the entanglement chapter you are standing inside the depot.

by the way... where can i get the "missing information mod"? i really want it!

ummm... I have a little problem (maybe stupid): i install th MI:Mod and i don't know how to enter to that mod

Diluted, what is the Harry Potter character in your avatar saying?

im haveing a bit of a problem with the IM mod right now... when i get to the part that demonstrates the pharapods the antlion kick never comes out of the door, he just sits there.

I thought it was taken from Raising the Bar, but there's just very similiar concept art at pages 216-219

Ever noticed how much more roundish Combine arcitutare was in the beginning of the game? The Citadel looked completely different!

The 'old' Citadel can be see at 34 seconds.

I prefer current, more plain-looking Combine architecture, as it reinforces their utilitarian machine-like personality. As I once mentioned in an old similar topic, the old Citadel looks like it's what humans would build if they were on the same technological level as the Combine.

You know, after writing that last sentence, I suddenly had an idea that the third HL story arc(The first was the Black Mesa incident, the second is the rebellion against the Combine) would involve humans establishing their own interdimensional nation. A bit more interesting than "they send a nuke to the Combine homeworld and everyone lives happily ever after".

I think you can see what remains of the depot in the skybox of Nova Prospekt.

I agree with you completely, the new Citadel is much better. The old one did look too human, infact we have proposed buildings that look very similar to the old Citadel.

Hey after some consideration it looks exactly like my house!
