Its not full, meaning there is no multiplayer, plus the menu doesnt work, meaning u have to start the game through the console. But there are complete levels in it.

hes a big robot with the posture of a gorilla.
alyx build it.
he will assist you (and probably alyx) in some way, more than likely in combat.

only in concept art, there are no official screenshots of dog. personally i hope dog isnt in the game much. at all. the whole concept seems a little...well....goofy. for lack of a better word.

With regards to the Alyx's sidekick robot dog (or robot called DOG), is this an acronym for something? If so, what? Is it going to resemble a dog in any way?

Alyx just thought it was amusing to name her robot Dog.

Do the phrases on here actually give anything away about HL2, perhaps explaining why Gordon is to have no memories of the past 15yrs? Or are we maybe reading to much into this?

They are there for a reason.

In HL1 if a player shot at the G-Man, he would not be injured, in effect being invincible from player inflicted harm. How are such "player attacks" going to be handled in HL2? If I was to take a shot at Alyx how would the game react to this?

She'd shoot you back. It would annoy her. Dog would kick your ass.

So I have to correct myself... I can't say it was Gabe.. but SOMEONE at Valve said that.

There's gotta be a time where Alyx doesn't have dog around, and you can shoot her. That'd be funny if regardless of where you are, if you shoot Alyx, Dog just randomly busts through a wall and kills you.

yeh but in doom 3 you lower your gun aswell but wen u step back a few feet he brings the gun back up and u can feely shoot them...i'm sure its the same for HL2 since it would be a bit silly if ur gun lowers in the middle of a firefight coz sum NPC is in the middle 50 yards away
