Actually Ridic, it was more like 3,000+. Anyone who laughs at that day should have they and their families die a slow, terrible, painful, horrible, disgusting death over and over again.
 
good thread, and i think its obvious those sites are just truying to get hits with that sort of newposts, almost every gamesite servers a link to those things...so...well 500 000 hits or so

Very Cynical there. It's not "Obvious". These are well respected sites, they have hundreds (if not thousands) of visitors a day. They wouldn't do it just for "More hits".

Just because it's news you may not like doesn't mean they made it up.
 
Yes, indeed. I have vistied these sites many times, not just because of there sticky "rumors" but, to read the gaming news etc. But, again we fall into the catorgy of "we don't know".

To be honest, Games Radar isn't all that reliable for news. They probably have a very small team, and PC Gamer supply them with the reviews and previews, and the other small lot that belong to MSN (clearly the maker of all things good and reliable in this world :rolleyes:) just collate the news on a daily basis and publish the other articles from PCG.
 
i have an idea for the mods here.


how about creating a HL2 delay thread that remains sticky at the top..

so any comments, speculation all gets posted in that thread instead of having 2-3 threads on the first page.. and god knows how many in the back pages..


so with this idea.. if a person does create another thread about the delay.. the intentions are clear maybe mods should punish the person for this..

this might speed up the forum a little.. and fewer delay threads and hopefully less nonsense.

im sick of multiple delay threads(im not the only one im sure).. and this could be one way of taking care of that..

but it may get rid of the multiple delay threads u see as soon as some news is released about the game being delayed..

i don't mind keeping all the delay stuff in one thread.. but when it becomes 3-4-5-6 threads on the first page.. thats getting insane..

i can live with 1 thread about delays, not 238901884 threads about the same thing.
 
The people who reply to those threads are just a bad as the thread starters. The thread starter start the fire, but the poster, on the other hand, are like wood.

I read that e-mail ages ago and it tells us very little. From the way it says "working towards" makes me feel as if it is unlikly and that Vivendi got a b*****king from Valve saying it was delayed when there is still a chance it won't be, could also be why Gabe has started saying "no comment", they just aren't sure yet.

There needs to be no more discussion relating to the delay. There is no delay until Valve say so, and then if that happens, there'll at least be good reason to discuss it and I'll let people off who make threads about it over and over again. I just don't see the point of so many discussions about something that's purely rumour.
