My sis gabbles things in her sleep. She also sleepwalks.

Usually, she'll walk down the hall into the toilet, use it, then walk back to her bedroom. If you intercept her at any point in the hall-traversing process, she'll stop and babble incoherently at you.

Some times she walks out into the loungeroom, and we all get gabbled at. Occaisionally something coherent comes through... like "wsfl gbl so remember to pick me up outside the shops, okay? ghsfbl wghl" or "mbufgl dmblghe my uniform's itchy glfghl dwmble". The latter was said while wearing a nightgown.

Usually she just giggles afterward, and walks off.

I also occaisionally sleepwalk. Last time it happened was at a sleepover. According to my friends, I got out of my sleeping-bag, walked out to the kitchen, opened the fridge, said "Cold.", got out the orange juice, walked into a wall a couple of times before heading to the bench, walked smack into the corner of the bench, stood back a little and said "Hello Mr. Pointy!", then proceeded to pour myself a bowl of orange juice.

Then the mother of the guy whose house we were sleeping at walked in, and I remember waking up from a very weird dream, in which I was exploring Antarctica, to find the lady staring at me, and all my friend peeking around the corner of the door.

I have never lived it down.

LOL, sorry that was funny :), I am sooooo glad I don't sleepwalk

If you tickle my sister's nose when she's sleeping, she usually brushes it and says, "Go'way, fly".

Truth.

I talk in my sleep a lot too. I can never remember what Im saying but if my patents hear me they usually tell me later. One night I was asleep and my dad walked into my room cause he heard me talking. When he opened the door I was saying "Ball.......strike...." I was calling a baseball game in my sleep, how strange. I dont even play baseball anymore.

Meh, i also only remember like one dream a month. And sometimes i remember the dream when i get up, but 30 min later i don't... its really irritating.

Write them down, years later it can be great fun reading these dreams you had ages ago

a nightmare of sorts, I'd gone into some town, then came home then went back again only to find it was getting dark real quick and rather than the nightlife starting up, all the stores and lights in the area were switching off and the only people I saw seemed to be worried about something up ahead around the corner, some sh*t was going to happen and I wasn't quite in the mood to be there when it did heh) had to force myself to shake violently in the dream so I'd start shaking for real and wake up..

See, with me, If I'm having a dream I dont wake up for ages, because Im enjoying it too much. If I was having that dream then depending how I was feeling I would find out is was just a power cut and get on with my life, or fight some massive evil subconcious demon, or play cs against it, or something fun or cool. Somehow, my concious mind keeps waking up for a second and reminding the subconcious that the dream is mine, that I control it, that in it I am God. So the dream goes my way.... as our good friend Mr.Damage said.....

i love talking about dreams. Whats the worst nightmare you've had?

mine would prolly be the one i used to get when i was young. I was in my Grandparents old house in the middle of the night and id walk down into the basement. there was a small room in the basement that seemed darker than all the other rooms... of course id slowly walk into it (don't ask me why) then when i was at the back of the room id turn around and look at the door. A figure would be standing there, and i couldn't hear anything, then the figure moved unnaturally quickly to me. the id wake up (usually in a cold sweat)

used to scare the crap out of me and it didn't help that it was a reoccuring dream:cool:

I had my scariest dream when I was like 3 I think ... but I remember it very well

I was in a room playing with other kids and then the teacher came saying like, "Ok, it's time to go". So everybody left and I stayed. She asked me to come but I said "no" and just stayed there. So they leave and turn off the lights and I was like "oh shit .. I should have went with them". And then I see some scary-ass zombie in the dark and wake up ...

I used to have a weird/scary dream every time i was ill or i was beginning to feel ill. The strange thing is though, its more of a drifting in and out of sleep dream and when i try and remember any of it, my mind goes blank about it. Its weird cos its so vivid when i dream about it. Pissed me off for many years.

This is off topic, but Ive posted a lot and I havent moved from Ant Lion in a long time. How come?

If I get any cool/weird dreams, if I can remember them I'll post them here,

I've been out for the last 8 hours drinking so I'm sure my night will be full of weirdness and illusions so if I remember any of them when I awake tomorrow then I'll let you know :)

Oh, and that punch thing happens to me in real life. I can splinter a wooden board with a punch or kick, but whenever I've had to punch someone, it's like my muscles have just frozen up, as if some part of my subconcious mind just doesn't want to hurt my target. Weird.

LMAO. I'm sorry, but some of that stuff was pretty god damned funny. Especially, "Hello, Mr. Pointy!". LMFAO :cheese:

I did that for about a month as an experiment when I was like 14 (2 years ago.) I should try and find what I did with the book and .TXT files that I wrote about them in / on.

My scariest dream ever won't sound very believeable to you guys, I'm sure, but it was almost like a form of telepathy... I'm not even shittin' you guys.

It had happened a little over 2 months ago, I believe (a while after 28 Days Later had came out) so I was dreaming and it started off as (**THIS IS ALL I REMEMBER BY THE WAY**) my dad and I in the good ol' '00 Nissan Sentra GXE on our way to church at my old school; Our Lady of Fatima. Then, I noticed all of a sudden that there was no one alive around, and that there were bodies scattered about randomly on the ground around the church and sidewalks.

My dad's a doctor, so I then proceeded to ask him what he though they all died from. I remember perfectly the picture of my head of a half-open coffin with a body on a stretcher-like thing falling out of the back of a hearse while I asked him the question. He said that they had probably all died of "rage... pure rage," which at the time made like no sense to me.
I don't remember what exactly had happened after that, but I do remember we went to check out all of the bodies and they looked EXTREMELY creepy. Their skin was like pure white and their pupils and eyes were creamy / milky white so you couldn't see their pupils at all. Also, on their faces (it looked like it was underneath their skin) was what looked like some sort of bright red blood, randomly shaped, almost like the way that some 'tribal tattoos' look. It was so fuggin' creepy. I thought about it all the next day at school. Really bugged me for a few days.

Ok, but the part that you won't believe is that I had never even heard of the infection of rage before (NO, I hadn't seen 28 Days Later at that time, nor had I heard anybody speak of the rage infection...) It was like my dream told me the future, kinda' like what that movie was about before I'd even seen it. Also, remember my description of what the 'infected' in my dream looked like? If you want to see (visually) what they looked like, rent 28 Days Later (or watch it if you have it) and go to the part where Jim first goes to the round-about with all of the 'I miss you' cards and stuff with 'MISSING PERSON(S)' on it. He looks at all of them, and right about when the music picks up (I think) he looks at one with a black and white picture on it of a shady-looking figure... my infected looked JUST like that, 'cept with white skin and red markings... creepy??? F*CK YES! >__<

When I 'fly' in dreams, it's more like floating, and it's not like a power or even something weird, it's just a normal physical action I can do. It sort of feels like I'm using my muscles to push away from the ground, sort of like a double-jump in UT2003, cept floatier. It's really cool :) and when I do it I actually feel like I'm doing it, like it's real, like I could do it in real life? It's the best feeling...

Oh I had a dream about HL2 just now! It was so scary :( I was being chased by giant robots, then one trapped me in a corner and was trying to stomp me and firing missiles and stuff, it seemed so real! Then I got away and I was flying round the map, not like my normal flying, it was as if I had noclip on, where I didn't have a physical presence, I just moved around the map like you would in HL1 with noclip on in the console. Then some combine started flying after me and trying to catch me and it was soooo scary! :(

Then suddenly I was at this Half Life 2 display, like you'd find at E3 or something. Gabe was there, and there was a big stage with screens and the game playing and stuff. But then there were the robots :| These life sized robots walking around the display that looked exactly like some characters you'd find in the game, I can't remember which ones. And they REALLY freaked me out, kept walking up to me and sort of just staring, and I couldn't run away >_< Well it's over now... man.

This sounds stupid, but I once had a dream where an alien and myself teamed up to battle muppets for a treasure chest filled with gold.

I woke up before the final battle though. :dork:

Oh yeah, the alien looked like the ones fron Independence Day (without the suits), only neon green with yellow eyes.

...and i dreamed it before the movie even existed.

hmm, i don't really have a lot of dreams.
i sometimes get these really weird ones where i get really mad at someone and it's like y'all said about punching people except the opposite; i whack them really hard except i actually end up physically lifting my arm and hitting the bed, and then i wake up really freaked out. it gets kinda scary; happened maybe two or three times.
then there was this recurring nightmare i used to have a long time ago. in my dream it was around halloween so some store had some decoration skeletons set up on either side of the elevator. so when i get out me and my sister are trying to run between the skeletons but i end up running into it and knocking it over. it comes alive and starts chasing us but we make it out of the store and then we're in the car and i realize i'm missing a shoe... and then my parents make me go back in the store by myself to get my shoe; i go in and trip and the skeleton's there, and then i wake up. that dream probably happened maybe twice.
a long time i ago i had this weird dream where the setting looked basically like an animated movie. There was a river and trees, except they were fake like flat drawings. It was actually a pretty nice dream; i ended up running next to the river catching fish...
ok last one--the only dream where i could actually control what i did. before i had the dream i had been wondering whether, if you pinch yourself in the arm in a dream, would you actually wake up. so i'm in this dream where i know what i'm doing... i consciously look down at my arm and move my hand over and pinch it... and i woke up :) and then the next morning my arm kinda hurt where i pinched it.

You were drinking the night before right?? I have some ****ed up dreams, mostly all have to do with some catastrophe or death. One time I had a dream that me, my uncle and someone else were riding on a train, the train derailed and rolled down a hill. I some how made it out without a scratch, then my uncle is sitting there ****ed up yellin for me to go get help. And im all calm and like "eh whatever" lol. Wouldnt have cared really...but I had the dream multiple times in a row...so it kinda bugs me.

The weirdest dream I've had was when I bled to death from a splinter in my big toe.
I don't remember the exact situation, but I think I was running in a lumber yard and tripped over a piece of unfinished wood.
What does that mean?

Most of my dreams are completely realistic in appearance, physics, etc... but with strange sequences of events.
The most fun one was a "Groundhog Day"-type dream where I kept living the same situation over again and changing the outcome by doing something different each time.
Once I got a suitable outcome I would continue on.

Have you ever found something in a dream that you lost like car keys, a cell phone, or a remote control?
That's great.

LOL sometimes when I fall asleep on a bus or a train I smack people sitting next to me once in a while.

I've heard that if you dream about flying it's supposed to mean you have accomplished something in your life.

Flying dreams are usually the most fun dreams
except for maybe that one with the giant chocholate egg that exploded...
I swear i could really taste the chocolate lol

I wasn't there at the time but my friend was sleeping over at my other friends house, he said he woke up in the middle of the night and picked up a peice of beef that was leftover from supper and threw it out the window, he then went back to sleep.

Anyone ever dream in 3rd person? I think I have, but only a couple times. Isnt it wierd how dreams are first person all the time?

My HL2 dream was third person ^^ There was another one where I was Neo in Revolutions (I haven't seen it yet) trying to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do? Except I looked exactly like the guy you play on GTA3. And I kept doing all these random things and stuffing up then thinking "I wish the oracle was here". And at one stage I jumped off this HUGE building and as I was falling I felt a bullet hit me, it was like my arch-enemy shooting at me from this balchony, so I pulled out my gun to shoot back, but I only hit him once before I passed the balchony in his stomach, I distinctly remember thinking "damn, that was a non-lethal hit". Then I quickly yelled up to him "Go to the 7th floor, you can make it!!" and he ran down as I was falling like really freakin fast, then I remember hitting the ground on my feet and just sorta falling over then pulling out my gun, aiming for the 7th floor and just shooting out the rest of my clip before I died, dunno if I got him or not :D that was screwed up...

"Quick! Run down so I can finish shooting you!"
"Okay! (runrunrun)"

Anyway, I never dream in third person, but all my distant memories are in third person. I have formulated a theory-memories from long ago are in third person because you see yourself as a different person.
Ilove flying dreams. Either you just push off from the ground and fly without thinking about it, or you have wings and just contract your back muscles. Flying with wings feels like going to the toilet.
Wierd dream I had when I woke up and everything, including me, was animated, and I wasnt in Brighton, I was back where I used to live in Scotland and my old girlfriend was waking me up-very strange since I didnt actually live with her, being 13 at the time....... Anyway, she was really weirded out by being animated (couldnt say I blamed her) and I remember looking at my hands and going "ARGH!"and we ran out opf the house and just spent ages exploring the island and seeing what teh places we knew so well looked like when drawn. No other people were around though..... ANy budding psycologists ready to decipher our madness?

i had a cool dream where i was an angel and went around shooting farmers with a shotgun

I've never dreamt I could actually fly, but almost always when I run really fast in a dream I can sort of glide just off the ground, or like surfing the wind/thin air or something, its really weird but a lot of fun when its lucid and I'm going around all these streets like that as if I'm on a surfboard about two feet from the ground only im not standing on anything... wish I could do that for real :D

ive had a dream where i could fly and it was cool, i had angel wings and flew around at night time over motoways and stuff.

It's horrible when you wake up because all you can think is "my life sucks", and you really want to fly for the rest of the day. so actually they may not be a good thing.

I once dreamed I could fly. I also once dreamed I could run as fast as cars.. It was SO weird feeling the muscles in my legs pump that fast... It was amazing.

Have you ever realized IN a dream that you were dreaming and taken control of the dream? If so, what did you do? Kill everyone? Have sex with everyone? Fly? What?

I've found it only happens when I let myself naturally be woken up, without any alarm clocks or interruptions. It's amazing what I can do when it happens. Have only had it happen 3 or 4 times.

I know exactly how you feel :( I especially hate the dreams that are so real, where I can actually remember saying to myself in the dream "this MUST be real." When I wake up from those, just the feeling of the real reality hitting me, it's so... shitty :/

The question is:

Am I still dreaming?

I love Matrix trilogy. Its real dudes

Yep, thats what I keep saying. Are we the only ones who get this? If so, hah hah, cos it's fun.

I assume you don't actually mean 'everyone'....so with that assumption, usually all three.

I fly in a few dreams, its scary at first, like your on a rollercoaster when I take off. My stomch drops and I feel scared but then when Im in the air its awesome. I just glide around, kinda like peter pan but less gay, and no tights. So fun and cool. I usually land and take off a bunch of times. I usually fly on my old friends houses driveway for some reason. I moved away like 8 years ago and I dream Im flying above his driveway but no1 else is around. Its pretty cool stuff.

i can't believe this actually happened, but apparently this topic just messed with my dreaming cause last night i dreamed i was in a computer game.
i was watching the game going on from inside the game, like i was a spectator in the game but couldn't do anything, only watch. so anyways my sister was playing (i have no idea why i thought it was my sister since i never got out of the game and saw anybody actually playing) and the game was basically some freakish mix of doom II and duke nukem. there was that monster from duke nukem that kinda flies around and shoots out those orange things (sorry i don't know any of the names of those characters) and then later on there was that skeleton thing from doom II that lifts its arms and has those yellow flame things. and then the layout of the game looks like it would've been a scene from duke nukem, but the graphics and texture and stuff looked like it would've been from doom II. so basically i watched the same fighting occurring over and over again cause my sister kept losing, haha, and the skeleton from doom only came out the last time. and then i was thinking "rocket launcher" when i saw that skeleton guy and somehow i was able to get out of the game and hit the key to change the weapons, but my sister ended up losing again anyways.... and then i woke up.
