Drinking and HL2

Alright, this is a somewhat whimsical post that will hopefully not get me warned or banned, but I am curious. How many of you play HL2 or the DM while potted out of your skulls? This probably came to me because I am Half-Drunk myself (ha!), but I wasn't drunk when I was going through the game initially (just hungover) and wonder how many alcoholic gamers there are in the world.

Its best to start playing a game with a slight relaxing buzz from alcohol and then work your way up to being shit faced. Its fun for online playing.

though i'd much rather toke up than get lit while playing games but some times all i have available to me is beer and whiskey.

Indeed there isn't. Unfortunately, sometimes I have been that drunk person.

This gives me an idea for a mod, i will add an alcool detector interface so everyone can see the actual alcool in you blood in the hud!
So we could make servers dedicated to alcoolics only for example.

I took my time playing through HL2 and went through at least 2x24 over a week or two.

I actually think i play CSS and HL2DM better after 2-3 beers and it sure feels more fun.

I dont drink much. Not at all when I played HL2. Have played CSS with a buzz a few times. My skills go down a bit but I sure as hell get into the game. (makes it pretty frustrating at times, really).

Tried it after I had already beat it...but I get motion sick from the game itself, so that didn't last long.

So the moral to this storyis: Motion sick+drinking=vomit filled keyboard
