As long as you drink in moderation, and don't drink and drive, and don't get into drunken fights, and don't rape anyone when your drunk, and don't take advantage of someone else because they're drunk, than it's ok IMO

Drinking is bad for you. Ive never drunk any alchohol and KNOWING it was alchohol , but Ive seen a lot of people your age breaking up with there girl/boyfriend becouse they got drunk and cheated.

Alcohol tastes like crap...not that I would know. Well, at least to me, Red Wine tastes bad. I was at a friend's house and he was Jewish so the kids got to drink wine. My other friends and I were invited for dinner and they had Red Wine and everyone tried it and I didn't want to try, but I also didn't want to seem rude. It tasted awful.

Don't let yourself be pressured into doing something you don't want to do. Underage drinking is a very common thing, but if you're not comfortable with doing it, don't do it.

Parents are forbidding me from having any contact with alcohol. Basically because it ruined my sisters and my mothers first marriage.

I've tried convincing them to let me drink heavier stuff to make sure I build up "resistance" to it, so I won't pass out or something the first time I go out and drink with some mates, but nothing "works".
