DVD Version

I posted this before in another thread but no-one answered and it got buried....was wondering if anyone had seen any info on the following:

Does anyone know what versions of the SKU will be released on DVD (I believe Gabe confirmed a DVD edition) has this been cancelled or could it be there will actually be 6 versions of the game? 3 SKU's with a CD or DVD version?!

Taking a guess I would envisage a sort of Collectors DVD edition only..or something.
 
I'm gonna go with my machete into the game-store to get me the dvd-version! nothing will stop me!

I don't think that's right.

A lot of people seem to assume that the Collector's Edition is DVD-Only but I haven't seen it written down anywhere.

Most likely, the SP/MP version will have a DVD Version available.
 
us ppl from UK will have the CD's in a spinkee DVD case :)
since they did away with game boxes a while ago
 
yea I wish more games over here came out in dvd cases (even if they are cds) only certian games get it, last I can remeber was max payne.
 
I'm not worried about the extra stuff the dvd collectors ed will have, they will all be released online anyway.. Either ripped by someone or official by valve. So im gonna go with the cheapest one.

The Collector's Edition "Cool Bonus Stuff" is going to be things like Mousemats, Posters or something similar. Actual physical things.

Good luck with downloading them though.

lol I meant like a doll one, you know those plush ones or whatever they call them ;) but hell if I was getting a live one that would be cool, Id open the box and put it in a cage, cool pet. lol

I could think of some more annoying people then that to turn it lose on that go door to door. :D

LOL...the problem is training it to not attack you.
 
put blinders on it, yea that should do it, like horses wear, that way it only attacks what you point it at.

Do Headcrabs have eyes?
 
I'll assume they do for the sake of having it kill what i point it at, otherwise it will lead to complications :)
 
Well if they don't have eyes then what do they use for direction? Sonar?
 
They could sense vibrations through the floor or use smell.
 
I suppose id have to wear a headcrap proof helmet, and make a little muzzle for the little guy, then when I go for walks with him in the park, or around town I can pull the muzzle off and the leash and let him jump free, with no fear of head landings on myself.

omg, this is amazing, someone tell where i can get this new version of winzip thats allows me to download physical items, its sounds great!!!
 
You folks missed the thread on the NS forums.

Some dude told us he was a l33t h4x0r and that if something wouldn't run on his computer he'd just download some new hardware.

I'll be downloading my ATI 9950 as soon as they're released personally.
 
Aah yeah, I downloaded my X800, but my harddrive has uploading the information to the company very slowly so it took me days. then I didn't have enough FPS to unzip it and stuff... *joke*
