Eating on the cheap

I used to eat dry ramen noodles as a kid. Sprinkle on a little of the seasoning packet as half cascades down onto my pants and shirt, and take a big crunchy bite. Repeat the process.

I crunch them up in the bag, pour them in the packet, shake...and empty into bowl...or eat straight out of bag.

go to deli, get deli meat ..150grams should last you the week, go to cheese section, buy a block of cheese (dont get sliced crap, it's crap and expensive compared to a block), buy 5 buns ..buy a half dozen apples and some bananas, get a bag of trail mix from bulk area buy a case of water ..there you go enough food for the entire week for less than $20

I agree for the most part. Deli food = win. Costco/Sam's Club water = win. Fruit = win. All of that is cheap, filling, and healthy.

wow blast from the past, nice to see you blahblahblah

Meatball subs! Hamburgers! Steak! Pizza! Baked Potatoes!

Unhealthy, expensive, and FILLING! Wooohoo!

Hey, working men have to eat!

Well, I don't work that much anymore, so I've been having to cut back. :bonce:

BTW, I like my steak rare. I eat like a true beast of nature.

Meatball sub is disgusting, steak is disgusting.

Baked potato is boring, and pizza is yum.

What's wrong with meatball subs? I've gotten them occasionally from places like Subway and Quiznos. Quite fantastic! I guess you just don't like meat.

I've never been much of a steak fan, but I don't consider it disgusting.

I'm not a HUGE fan of steak, but with the right spices...oh dear god. Bite into it, while the juices flow through your teeth and touch your tastebuds...oh dear god, it's orgasmic.
