FUNNYMAN EDDIE MURPHY will play The Riddler in the next Batman movie, The Sun can reveal.

The Beverly Hills Cop star, 47, has been signed up by British director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to reprise the role played by JIM CARREY in 1995?s Batman Forever.


Execs have also signed up rising Transformers star SHIA LABEOUF, 22, to play Robin

odd casting choice as the riddler, although I like eddie murphy ..not a fan of sharia le boeuf but I always found robin to be annoying anyways so Shia is made for the role

Nolan has quoted that he will never use Robin in his films, can't be arsed finding it so you will have to trust me on that, and the fact that the Sun said it means its bullshit anyway, Robin wouldn't fit in the Nolan universe at all.

Eddie Murphy as Riddler, well if THAT is true, then its a largely unexpected choice, don't really know what to make of it, but I trust Nolan, so lets see what he can do with it.
