Oh, I wasn't talking strictly FPS for the PC. There are a bunch of great adventure, strategy, RTS games that have recently dropped, apart from the great FEAR and CoD2, not to mention the bunch of great PS2 titles that have just released or will release soon. And with a few more on the way before Christmas, its going to be pretty expensive and exciting for those of us who don't limit their gaming to one genre/one medium. :cheers:Freemanator89 said:Way too much to buy? What was the "much" part? I mean what has come out, FEAR...CoD2?
Yeah but GoW ain't releasing til January 2k6, still within' the 360's "launch window" tho.Alan Freeman said:We still have Condemned and Gears of War!!!! OR DO WE

The forests are all randomly generated using SpeedTree and even take into account soil erosion over time due to weather, wind, etcVirusType2 said:It sounded like the narrator was saying the forest was randomly generated in real-time. saying that the game decides where to put trees and rocks, etc.
Could someone explain what he really ment?
We have yet to see if STALKER is even going to ever come out, though I'm hoping since they're taking all this time it's going to be a msterpieceGargantou said:Icarus, that's only when using the editor, it's not an "in-game" feature, atleast not from what I've read on the forums.
Also, I don't see what's so SUPER impressive about Oblivion, the A.I. doesn't sound like it's more impressive than say STALKER's, but I guess we won't be able to tell until both of them have released.
And make no error, I'm greatly looking forward to Oblivion, I've been a faithful Elder Scrolls fan since the days of Daggerfall(Great game albeit a buggy piece of shit at times).

Freemanator89 said:That reminds me, any speculations as to what the System requirements for Oblivion will be? I was thinking in school a bit about that and I came to the conclusion that to play it nicely, with some of the eye candy up, maybe a 2.5Ghz processor/AMD equivalent with 1024Mb RAM and a 128Mb Video card 9800/6600GT
CptStern said:I think that's midrange performance ..read a good article on video card performance in TES:Ob ...I'll post it if I ever track it down again
I have a p4 2.8 c, 9800 and they specifically said it would run it with most of the eye candy turned on
Funny, I've used nothing but Asus mobos and never had a problem with them, along with my other friends that build computers.Blue2 said://Off topic
I have completely boycotted Asus Mobo's for this reason among many others, but of all the different mobos I've used or put into other computers Asus fails more then any other.
Blue2 said:Hopefully this delay allows them to release a game that doesn't require a patch the day after release, I can only wait and hope. Its been a while since I've heard of a game being released that didn't require a patch within the first week or so, correct me if I'm wrong but the tendency of this is really mind boggling.
