Agreed. The FarCry ending was ace. ie: DOom 3, GC II, hitman 3 (boy i hope hitman 4 will be good this time)

Also, while the game was average to me, I thought Halo's race against time ending was very good.

Ugh, I forgot about that. I really hate when stuff like that gets in the way of a good idea (imo). It's just like the petition to rename The Two Towers. The thing is if it was a bunker or something (anything that isn't a tower) that was going to explode nobody would care...but my point is a timed 'escape' level. You just backtrack as quickly as you can, so you already know the level, but your going through it in the opposite direction with lots of baddies that you either have to kill quickly or just ignore.
