Engies are not worth it in SD.
I like 1...just to stop the random scout from getting it. But any more are just not worth it.
Nice post, Jintor.
But then you wouldn't get the tense 1v1, 2v2, 2v1, etc battles.Sudden Death should be like Dr Dodgeball where every time you kill an enemy, you get to pick one of your teammates to bring back to life. That way the game landslides one way or the other more quickly.

Sudden Death sucks and we all know it!
Best way to win sudden death is for all engis to switch to medics.
I think I was in that game on Blue, Kadayi As nice as it was for us at the time, I felt as if we didn't really deserve to win. I would rather we had pulled together to defeat your horde of sentries rather than just have the game decided by a random shootout. The problem with sudden death is that many people haven't cottoned onto the fact that they need to change class to something else generally. We were just kicking ass on Well as Red and were denied the last point by some robust defense by Blue. Come sudden death none of the 5 engineers in the team bothered changing to a more offensive support class and we ended up getting our asses handed to us because the opposition were already a fighting force. The banzai like charge forward didn't help matters either....:frown:
So true. Medics are the way forward in SD. One engi is fine, more than one a lot of people will be twiddling their thumbs for a few minutes.
Or just change SD to melee only!
