ever saw the metallica spoof video depicting Metallica Vs Napster war. that single single video effected metallica so badly that a shot clip was shown in the Metallica discography. the language use wa out right rubbish(really foul sheesh !!!!).

Over my lifetime, I've probably "stolen" 2000 dollars' worth of music and emulated SNES games.
I consider that sampling though.

In the end, I deleted it all and the now own about 10,000-15,000 in legit CDs and DVDs.

Piracy = win.

I've probably downloaded about $7,000 or $8,000 worth of stuff, ranging from countless music files, drafting programs (AutoCAD 2002 through 2006, $3,000 each, which would actually bump me up a category, but I've already voted 3,001 - 10,000). I've also downloaded the full series of Family Guy, Futurama, and Robot Chicken.
Also, does renting DVDs from the library and ripping/burning them count?

Another interesting poll would be to Estimate your potential pirating fines. Those would be some hefty numbers.

Compare what you would get for pirating some movies/songs with what you would get if you molested a 12 year old girl. I think you will be surprised. (Or maybe not :bonce: )
