EVE - Who are you?

There's a more missile types than that. :p

As well as both tier 2 types of missile for each launcher. And don't forget FoF and Defender missiles.
 
Ah there are fof and defenders and assalt / heavy assault... ut thats about it. and no one really uses them.
 
Anyone tried much factional warfare? Is it any fun?
 
It's more about corp warfare.
Also, my name ingame is Kalue Aschley if I ever play.
 
Yeah, no shit ace. I know the game is mainly about corp wars, but faction wars were introduced since my account expired and I'm wondering what they're like.
 
Haven't really experienced it. I went to an in-game event once though.

Yes every system had like 100 people in it and it was a bit laggy. A corp member just found a WH and I entered it. It was so pretty looking. It was like all groovy and it looked like soap all over space and the sun. :E I entered and the place is barren. You can warp to stars and the HDR and bloom effects are amazing. My friend tried to take on some Sleeper sentry guns in his Raven and got them down to 1/4 before he left. I saw him taking damage and they didn't attack me but talk about shoop da whoop laza's! :LOL: We are currently probing the system out to setup a station inside the place. It's kinda like the gold rush. I exited though safely but it was a wild ride.

Oh and our alliance held a PVP OP. I refused it because it was gonna be at 8PM, I had a funky feeling, and my corp leader said there was more profit in WH space. Turned out the FC is a dolt and gives out bad advice and ended up getting ganked. We lost things like a Raven, Drake, etc.
 
They have recently spent a big big load of money on rebuilding all of their server machines, the lag has droped like bad but there is still the odd day here and there where its abit slow. Jita also is normly slow but i think its kind of expected with 600+ people in the sysetm.

You should of gone on the pvp op hool, just take a merlin =D

It's only really laggy around that one station though.

My alt hasnt left jita for months now, it can take a wile to get him turned on at times lol.

Good news,

I bought a phone for ?2 and plugged it in and seems I already have a phone line. I phoned up my broad band provider and gave the number and its all sorted. Should have the net up and running in 5-7 days :D

So we should start looking into our first pvp op soon :) Anyone have any ideas what type of gang they would want to fly in. I'm thinking somthing cheap really, cruisers + frigs?

Stabbers are awsome ships, would it be worth making a thread descussing what we want to do? Are we fitting for range or do we want to get in close?

Do we want to take any logistics?

etc etc... what are people intrested in?
 
I can -barely- fly a Griffin too if you want some ECM. No logistics skills though.
 
I'm thinking no one can use micro warp drives so it will probly be better to fit for range, otherwise we are going to get screwed up close.
 
We'll need a tackler or two though. I can do that. Got decent MWD and AB skills.
 
Awsome, I didnt think anyone could use MWD. Its a must really for pvp. I can get hole of an interceptor if we need somsone to tackel and scout. I'll be happy to do that.

I'm thinking of maybe heading towards the old goon space.
 
I can just tackle in a Vigil or something, no point risking a 20-odd million intie. Hah, going to Delve or Impasse etc. sounds like a laugh though :p
 
I dont mind loosing an inty tbh, they arent to expensive and great fun to fly :)

I was thinking of heading to detorid tho, old goon space... they still have some systems there. Im thinking we can catch some noob ratters.
 
Sounds like it would call for me to jump into my clone and fly my Caracal. :LOL:
 
Just remeber the golden rule of pvp... fly what you can afford to lose.

If you're in an NPC corp just doing stuff solo then I can see that happening, yeah. If you do that you're kinda missing the point of it being an MMO.
 
Ah so, my current plan is we will meet up just outside of syndicate and head north towards cloud ring. This will likly happen not this weekend but the one after. A lot of 0.0 space and something fun should happen :)

Once you get a Drake like mine and do level 3 missions for the Caldari Security agents, things heat up. You will get like 1mil in bounties alone. I did a lvl 2 mission in fact for them called "World Collide". There was 50 ships dead afterwards! :eek: This happened last night with my corp. I obviously went into a worm hole and managed to get:
  • x4 Sleeper data library
  • x16 Neural Network Analyzer

I was working with Silpher who was in a battleship and I was in my Drake. The third guy who was omega21 was probing out sites. We didn't have a salvager though. :(

Really enjoyed it :D. I really need to go to wormhole space sometime soon.

Though the music was annoying :p could of just had the sounds of guns and explosions and maybe eves music?

Bah it was just laser beam sounds and mainly people talking on Vent. Don't like Ozzy Osbourne? :p Thanks though. *Oh and I usually just put my iTunes on and listen to Van Halen or something while doing missions.

That was my fault. I set it to window mode recording for some reason. I have it set to the max at 1680X1050.

**Oh they also have only Armor and Structure HP. There is no shields with those Sleepers.
