What battle ship was your mate flying?

And what was the security level of the system you found the worm hole in? I have been reading about people loosing dreads and carriers to these buggers.
 
They destroyed your drake's shields pretty fast there near the end, you took like 10 seconds before warping out? I guess their damage must be as high as some reports I've heard (or you're a shit tank lolol :p)
 
I hear they do all damage types too.

Going to have a hunt the eve-o forums and see if there is any info on there as to how to tank and what damage types are best. I hope its therm/ken because otherwise gallent will fail vs sleepers.

Yeah, from what I've read, they can do a lot of dps. Makes it really hazardous to solo, most people seem to try in a small fleet with some remote repairers.

Well thaty would be an interesting game if it was a 2D sidescroller. :p

But I don't know if its only certain wide screen resolutions or all of them that makes it have those black bars. I couldn't find much information about it anywhere really.
 
They have new improved AI as well so swop targets. If they target your logistics its not going to last long. It would probly be wise to speed tank the logistics and sit as far away as you can.

Maybe, but I don't intend on trying it any day soon :p I'm happy right now in normal space :D

I heard they can adjust their defenses depending on incoming damage types.
 
I have no clue what BS he was flying but I'm pretty sure it was a Rokh: http://eve.wikia.com/wiki/Rokh. My friend who was probing was using a Heron: http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Heron

They attack the weakest member of your group though. They also instantly attack drones. Also they adapt to what your weakest resistance is and adapt to what damage type you use. My Drake is currently passive with no rigs nor any Tech 2 items: http://www.battleclinic.com/forum/index.php/topic,8767.msg37556.html#msg37556 I'm still training the skills.

The security system we found it in was a 7 as well.
 
Damn, that is really screwed up if thats true. I guess it will be best to go in with a mixed fleet if thats how it works to get a mixed damage types.

How much is sleeper loot selling for?
 
I wonder how they react to inties. Can they track them? Web? Painting? Neuts?
 
Well they do have web + point thats for sure. I bet an inty would go down very fast, I wouldnt take one. Need somthing with an epic tank or lots of dps.

I reckon a RR battle ship gang would be best.
 
If you manage to find a wormhole big enough to fit a mom through you'll be able to own the system pretty effectively.

Tranquility just crashed?
 
If you can find a hole big enough and if you can afford 40bil for a mom then yea you be fine!
 
A mixed fleet would be fine but some WH take only 1 ship while others can carry fleets through.
 
Hey, I may be a carebear, but I pull in a nice amount of money and am not wasting money/time losing ships ;)

Then again, when I get my drake, I plan on running down to low sec looking for some decent ore.

tbh, if you mine in low sec you wont last long. If you mine in 0.0 on your own you wont last long unless you keep a really good eye on local and have some good safes :(

If you want to mine in 0.0 your gunna need to find a corp that has some safe'ish space.
 
Yeah, I'm going to scout around so I can get used to seeing low sec, but I won't be able to mine for a while, seeing as my group I mine with don't have anything really yet....I am in a mining corp, but eh....too much work to coordinate something with them.
 
I was just saying to hool that when I get my net online next week we should run some lvl4's together. Just to get used to flying with each other befor we head out into 0.0 to shoot some peoples.

If we run 4-5 missions you will all easy get enough isk to get a ship :) caracels maybe!
 
Eh, I'm not scrounging for money. It's the time and effort to get a new ship, get blowed u, get ANOTHER ship, get blowed up......
 
Honestly you rarely get your ships destroyed if you're careful.
 
I don't know what careful is considering I've only fired at rats!

Wormhole popped up in my home system today, so i went inside and found another wormhole which went to a Null sec system 43 jumps from where i started, found a couple of trading oppotunities and made some heavy cash with the shortcut, its cool having back doors popup into 0.0, gonna be useful for pvp.
 
Aw, my ishtar got popped :(

Started a fight with a cyclone, should of been an easy kill but he got into close and shut down my mwd with his scam. I was using a buffer tank with a 1600 plate just to give me tons of health but it just didnt hold out. It took a good wile for me to go down and he got away in structure.

Was a really good fight so worth the loss. Next time I'm going to get better distance and let the drones do their work.

Also, I was walking to work and thought of a funny scenario.

People keep calling me a Carebear...I'll show you I'm a Carebear when cut off all your heads, arrange them in a Asteroid Belt formation, make a paper airplane and start 'mining' your heads.

Who ever said that is a fooool.

Its really the otherway around. Never pvp without a MWD (Micro Warp Drive) because you will die pretty quick... speed is key.

I might throw out the em pump and use a rep amount rig instead. And if i use a rep amount rep it may well be worth using only one rep and get more resistance. To much to choose from!

I'll probly throw a sensor boost in that last mid slot too, make sure I can get a nice fast lock.

So went into my first worm hole and went into a low sec system 40 jumps away D:

Then went into another one and found a new system. My god it was beautiful.
I got a few screenshots, about 5mb each :p
 
Joined a corp from my old alliance today. It's pretty cool. Smallish (though its part of a new alliance it formed), does lvl 4s and 5s regularly as well as mining ops and pvp ops, does manufacturing too. Bit of everything for everyone :D

Nah I'm at the edge between Verge Vendor and Placid. Can make it to Syndicate easily enough for pvp though.
