I've noticed that this site has a terrible problem with keeping members who are "permanently banned," permanently banned.

I see that our good friend Lemonking is banned, yet again. Have we lost count yet? If it weren't so obnoxious, it would be pretty hilarious how many "permanent" bans he has recieved for flaming, anti-Semitism and racism, creating hateful threads, and just generally doing bannable things.

And no disrespect, gh0st, but in all honesty I had gotten the impression that you were to be banned "permanently."

I just wanted you to add a little section in your rules.

If you are banned, don't take it too seriously. Whine, bitch, and moan to the nearest moderator and/or admin for as long and as much as possible until they lift your ban, no matter what rules you've broken, how often you broke them, and to what extent you've broken them.
Only way to make it fair for everyone. :|

Was Lemonking unbanned? I thought it was just another of his double accounts.

He was just recently banned again for making some hateful thread against Samon for some unintelligible reason. I don't understand why it is so hard to ignore a known racist troll when he whines and bitches to return.

Could anyone be sympathetic to TunaLemons...?

I would attribute it more to being too passive.

His ban has been upgraded.

More like infinite banning. If someone wants to remove it, they're going to have to explain to me why first.

You're my hero.

Which would play out as follows:

Moderator: "Um, Mr. Pi Mu Rho sir, I have a suggestion about LemonKing's ban, um.."

*Pi gives a practiced glare which conveys anger, threat, opression, and intelligence all in one*

*Moderator runs away crying*

God I could kiss you right now. :naughty:

Excellent.

I don't think there's anyone here who wants him unbanned.

I would make a poll, but may seem a bit cruel ;)

This is way overdue, but i'm not going to complain as it's done now and this is a huge step towards a happier forum. The anti-semitic stuff he posted made my blood boil, i just had to avoid him otherwise i'd get myself in trouble. Now justice is done. Any mods who find him moaning to you, and groveling to be unbanned, could you post the chat log for our entertainment? What? It would be deserved.

I did exactly the opposite. I tired get into as may confrontations with him as I could, but either later that day or the next he would try to say that he didn't mean any of it, so I blocked the poor bastard.

He was just one of those members that ruined everyone elses mood.

Anyone see the picture of the "it" that bit his *removed, sexual orientation*.

Teehee disturbed :p

But I didn't exactly what this to be a flame-Lemonking-thread, since there are others who routinely dodge the ban...

I think Munros an important part in the whole structure.
Anyone remember when I got a permanent ban, just for objecting to the politics forum being closed?

I had to get Munro to unban me then, no-one else would.

Then it's settled.

Munro must be banned!

All in favor?

Ah, I remember that. It was the example of 'dissenters get banned' stradegy. Which kinda worked.

But still, munro can override any moderator/super moderator in this forum.

EDIT: I disagree with the ban of lemonking, because you all flamed him for his opinons and that was THE cause of the hate thread, which you actually did ask for (correct term?).

But since the moderators agree with the ban, I must be wrong.

I dunno, i didn't mind him, but i ain't fussed if he's banned or not.

So.. samon insults him and he (rightly) complains about it.. so he's perma banned..
Makes sense to me.

Lemonking has been banned 4 or 5 times in the past few months. He's constantly abusive to other members. His ban was made permanent for that reason - he just doesn't learn.
Please don't try to muddy the waters with ignorance.

There's no need to be mean :/
You're mean a lot. It's really unpleasant.

And according to yuri he was banned this last time for the thread about samon...
If that's true, I was merely saying that's kind of an unfair reason to ban someone. I wasn't commenting on any of his past actions.

At the first post:

Not everyone is banned permantly, our temp bans last from 1 day to 2 years. (If I got what you meant wrong feel free to correct me. :))

Which, as I have explained, is not why he was permanently banned.

I'm only "mean" when I need to be. If you find it unpleasant, then it's working.

Well.. he did that.. then he was perma banned.. I wasn't exactly wrong :/
Although I do see how it was misleading.

And you're mean everytime you quote me :p
You've made the forum more unpleasant than lemonking ever has

You're entitled to your opinion, no matter how wrong it is.

The moderation is always right.

I thought opinions were neither right nor wrong ?

and sometimes, things just go right over people's heads...

Mate, attempting to be "mean" as you put it, doesn't affect me at all :p

I didn't insult him though, he just got uptight because I stated my opinion which implicated him and he didn't like it. I'm a very opinionated person. If you don't like it, tough. :p

Though we should of perma banned him long ago. Having him gone is a breath of fresh air for this place.

I think you are completely missing the point of what Pi is saying.

I wasn't?

Lemonking was actually warned by Pi in the politics forum before making the SAMON ARGBAHSRGHSRSA thread.

He was warned not just for insulting someone, but for insulting people all the time, for insulting people based on absolutely nothing, and for making such insults basically spam like just posting 'okay mr office twat'. This was a well known tactic of Lemonking in the politics forum - often he would, instead of bothering to argue with anybody, just post 'okay, twat' or 'okay, lol, cry more'. Each of his Politics posts were spam, stupidity and offensiveness all in one lovely glowing package.
