F*cked up HL2 dream.

I fall asleep

Then all of a sudden, I'm walking around, talking with Dr. Kleiner. Then, all of a sudden, a narrarator starts talking, and I'm watching clips of WWII. I then am in the modern world with the usp in my hands, running down a dark hall. During that time, I never fire a shot, and I go to a mall. Marylin Manson is there. The end.

Hopefully, not what HL2 will be like, but since the hype, I'm wondering if any of you have had any experiences like this, or maybe I'm crazy.

Funny you bring up a Half-Life 2 dream, because I had a Half-Life 1 dream 5 years ago.

I was in 7th grade at the time, and I was playing till the wee hours of the night. When I went to sleep, I was in a big room with a bunch of people I knew from school. Suddenly, my math teacher, Mrs. Post, smashed in and started killing everyone. She looked just like Nihilanth, and was impaling people with her claws. I had a submachine gun and started shooting at her, while crawling through air ducts. Then, I somehow ended up hiding in the bathroom, with the assistant principal. The End.

I think there should be a hotline for people who are having problems with Half-Life related dreams.

i had this dream... it was half life 2 inspired.
I was in a parralel universe, running away from some group of people ( no idea who) and a scientist was with me, but we got separated.

Then a whole load of pointless crap happened, and i met up with him again and we were flying away in a plane, and for some reason i had to shoot the innocent people who helped us with a gun turret mounted on the planes wing.


Maybe the scientist killing club will make a return? =o =o

I've had like 4 HL2 dreams :O .. I made a thread like this back in december-january.

The first one was a huge dark black room with some spotlights on different stuff of HL2. The hevsuit, a headcrab, the G-man and the game box itself..

The second one was like a demo Valve released.. It was kinda crappy but it was like midday and you ran around on house ruin stuff.

The third one was just about the game but more like a nightmare (was more like heaven still, it was HL2!) you were supposed to help barney with something and help him survive a Strider, but he always died in the dream, and you were supposed to crawl through some kinda sewer and dark weird stuff.

The fourth one was a mixture of UT2004 and HL2, the game was a huge map with different areas to go to and fight and stuff.

Most extreme criminals and insane people that have been studied have almost only dreams where they have normal lives.. A house and family, a job and stuff like that. They have like no nightmares, no weird f**ked up dreams. However these normal dreams might be nightmares to them, as you said.

LOL I had a dream where I was roaming city 17 and suddenly i saw a huge detailed purple guarantau with two purple detailed houndeyes with normal maps, dynamically casted fuzzy shadows and what not with one huge slimy green strider to complete the crew....very wierd....and I was holding the mp16 from hl's high defintion pack as gordon freeman...and the wierder thing is it was at night at city 17....the graphics were fine and i remember the res was 800x600 but the fps was @ 20...not sure what comp i was playing it on lol and then the dream just ended. :rolling:

I actually had an HL2 dream last night. I don't feel quite so crazy anymore. It started out with me holding an MP7 running down a hallway shooting combine and then I saw Alyx and then the dream somehow got sidetracked to finding some stupid little thing. It got pretty dumb. I always have cool dreams and then either they get sidetracked or I wake up, it pisses me off.

dreams, i have game dreams all the time. i had tons of homeworld2 dreams just before it came out... and i've had sporadic hl2 dreams here and there. usually the dreams are like "oh the game's been released?! WOOo! time to go buy it" and then the dream will sidetrack heh.

i have tons of dreams where i'd be hanging out just doing something normal... and then some bad person would come along and do something(like kill a friend of mine, or try to force me to do something bad) and then i get ultra violent... like beating them to death and then mutilating the corpse and going on a killing spree against all the bad people, like breaking their necks and then twisting the heads off... hmm...
i think that's how i deal with anger/stress(since i am so laid back i never REALLY get angry... i'm just like "eh" all the time hehe).
