I just saw on a commercial thats coming back to Fox on Friday, has anyone else heard this... and do you think it will be new episodes, I cant wait.

Yes they will be new!!!
ME LIKES!!! ME LIKES A LOT!!

It's a marathon I think (going to be a couple of them too)... but no new ones yet... it's to go up against whoever's got the Olympics.

^^^
Oh... I see you beat me by 1 min...

Can we confirm that they are new? Last I heard they were going to come out in January. I was thinking that maybe this is Fox just leading us back into Family Guy before the new episdoes hit...maybe to gather a bigger audience before the true return.

I saw the little promo myself: "Family Guy returns to Fox (Peter is dancing)- Stewie: "WHAT!?"

EDIT: Aha! Upon further investigation... I find that they are indeed old eps. being aired to combat NBC's olympic coverage. Bah. 8 episodes chosen by Seth for this little marathon.

I'm still pissed with the FOX network and their questionable programming. If it's not new episodes I'm not going to give them the satisfaction of me tuning in to their network for them.

I still have the Teletoon network here in Canada, and even TBS if need be. I'll probably be watching the Olympics anyway.

1. Family guy isn't funny. :p
2. MacFarlane is an idiot for letting Fox handle his show again after all of the crap they put it through.

1. Pffftt.. funny.
2. I bet they came crawling back to him after the DVD's started flying off shelves. Besides...Fox tries anything funny...Cartoon Network may be airing the episodes as well.

I'm sorry but it isn't. I laugh a couple times, but it isn't in the same league as Seasons 3-8 of the Simpsons and all of Futurama.

Sure, the mini-marathons during the Olympics might be reruns but I heard that FOX signed Family Guy on for 35 more episodes that should start airing in January.

If Cartoon Network is going to be showing the new ones too then I'm going to be watching them there and not on Fox.

Right. I was just confirming that the episode we'll be seeing in a few days time aren't new yet. There's also some supposed news from Alex Borstein's website saying Season 4 is coming June 2005...let's hope that's not right :(

If there are new episodes, they better be made by the exact same people who made the others. I will accept no substitutes.

IN ORDER OF GREATNESS

1. Family Guy
2. Futurama
3. Simpsons

Maybe i should of put Teen Aqua Hunger Force in first.....

Aquateen is funny sometimes but other times its just not there anymore I mean some episodes are genius then some are just ugh...

Family Guy is feeble compared to early Simpsons seasons. Not to mention almost every one of its plots is lifted from those classics. Oh well, atleast it beats the shitty new Simpsons episodes.

if new episodes will come in friday there in your country...here the new episodes will come a mont after :(

I think the reason why SImpsons has lacked in quality is because they're running out of good things to parody. Entertainment in general was funnier and more interesting 5 years ago before reality TV made a mess of things.
